I agree, but those are the least-ESPN-like shows out there. 30 for 30 is a great documentary series, probably the best thing they do. Sadly, OTL is hidden in a 1:00 PM time slot.

When they do show a highlight you were waiting on, they spend a total of 30-45 seconds on it. Sometimes they will skip to the 3rd or 4th quarter and dickride one team the whole time and not even show you a clip for the other team.

Why is Jemele so hated? I know she loves rivalry week, but I've never really been annoyed by her. Blame ESPN for bad programming

Most ESPN personalities are empty-headed big mouths, but we don't have 100-post threads when they leave the network. Ribbing UM is a schtick that attracts a lot of viewers (see Finebaum, Paul). I guess I don't see the big fuss

There is a growing conspiracy that it was all a plan to get around the SEC no-compete. Does anyone inside SH feel the same or was this genuinely a situation where we were hopeful an expanded role would open up for him to move into, but those didn't pan out because people didn't move as expected?
Between the weird hirings with all the strings attached and then players transferring but not transferring rumors really make us look...in disarray.

things are looking up again! There is nothing more fickle than sports and sports media. The great thing about sports is that you can go from being dejected to being related within moments. When the inverse happens, I like to turn it off and just say it is only sports.

I know alot of people hate her, but I've grown to enjoy her work over the years. I don't watch Sportscenter because I can access highlights on my phone instead of waiting 45 minutes to see my team's highlights like I used to. But she's done some good work at ESPN and I'll be reading her stuff at the Undefeated. And she hasn't parsed words in this MSU situation either. Good luck to her next move.
