I for one will not tolerate your ignorance, intolerance, and general defect of empathy. You are a bully and I am a bully of bullies. And, as a social advocate, I will continue to intervene when necessary.

Sometimes I like to have a little fun on this blog and if that costs me some point who cares. It's just a blog, It does not define me. However, seeing your responses and, well, lack of any insight, or responsibility for your perceptions that were removed by moderators for good reason. I'm not surprised you are attempting to turn it around on me, that is nothing unexpected from a person like you. I don't like you. I don't like the character you are portraying, and god do I hope it IS a character you are playing, not truly the person you are. Time will tell and myself the michigan community and moderators will let you know, again.

This is not a place you can act any way you please and spout ignorance or biggoty which, you have proven. You never appoligized, took ownership, or otherwise exhibited maturity. I would provide a quote, but again, they were deleted for good reason. I still remember, and I will make sure you do as well.

Edit: I have been a member on this board for almost as long as anyone, since practically it's inception. You, on the other hand, have waltz's in and acted like an entitled privileged ass. I feel bad for you for wanting 'likes' so much, they are telling of your self esteem. I pity this and wish you better for the future. I get everyone want their place, but maybe this isn't the place for you, at least at times. Just know that here within the michigan community you are held to a higher standard, and you will reap what you sow, as I did in my stupid comment. And, as you have already found out, though so easily forgoten. I hope those who are unaware of this will take my words into consideration before deciding their opinion and perceptions of you, or me for that matter.

As an Engineer, I understand some stuff, and understand cars a certain amount, but I would never trust me to fix my car. I was bested by my wife's new beetle when I couldn't change the lightbulb after a couple hours, some your tube instruction and a lot of swearing. 

In regards to a CVT transmission, I have never driven one, but know that the feel of them is a lot different than your standard transmission.  You don't get the shifts you expect to feel.  Your mechanics may be right that you just need to get the feel of the car.  Maybe go test drive a new car with a CVT (I believe nissans all use them).  If they feel similar, then it's the different transmission feel. 

ask them for an extended warranty on the drivetrain since you won't know if anything is wrong with it until it 'learns you". At the very least I would get it in writing that you reported a potential problem within 30 days and if a real problem is found CarMax will either pay the full cost to repair or replace the transmission.

Personally, seems an odd explanation to me, and I just changed a transmission out on my son's Jeep. (So far had a good experience with a remanufactured transmission from Moveras if anyone is interested.)

He's partly right. Don't ever buy a FWD Chrysler. Of course, no one should ever buy FWD because it's stupid fucking design.

I've had my Challenger for 7 years, and the only issues that have come up were minor and generally a result of me doing something to the car.  I don't know of anyone who has had a mechanical problem with theirs.

My dad has had a string of Dodge trucks for over 20 years. His current one has 250K miles on it, over 200K of those are pulling an 18,000 lb trailer. Only needs general maintenace, still runs amazingly well and is comfortable enough for he and mom to drive back and forth across the country.

who bought a brand new Dodge truck. He had so many problems with the truck he sold it for a huge loss less then a year later. He didn't care as long as he could get rid of it.
