A Michigan Man will win the Super Bowl.

I’m watching a nice piece on Brandon Graham and it occurred to me that with the teams left, we’re guaranteed that at least one former wolverine will be getting a Super Bowl ring. It’s great to see our former players succeeding in the league. List below via ESPN.

Tom Brady New England Patriots
Alan Branch New England Patriots
David Harris New England Patriots

Ben Gedeon Minnesota Vikings

Brandon Graham Philadelphia Eagles

Chad Henne Jacksonville Jaguars
Patrick Omameh Jacksonville Jaguars
Jarrod Wilson Jacksonville Jaguars

Let's say he and Belichick did "cheat". I'd bet a lot of money that any other QB who "cheated" while playing on another team for the last 15 years wouldn't win more than 2 super bowls.

I mean, let's be honest - the entire thing was just about balls ultimately, and as he has proven time and time again in his career, Tom Brady has some.

WIth any luck, he stays in the league long enough to begin to run out of space on his fingers for rings.

yes, but what's also worth mentioning is how league-wide that kind of behavior is. If you think that Pats are the only ones looking to gain a competitive edge that way, you're crazy.

we're talking micro-phones in the locker rooms, undercover staff infiltrating other teams, wireless communication jammers disabling coaches headsets at the end/pivotal moments of the game.

anything/anywhere you have millions of dollars to be gained or lost, you're going to see this type of behavior.

"Everyone does a thing that's against the rules" does not make it not cheating. Nearly everyone pays college football recruits under the table but that doesn't mean that Ole Miss wasn't cheating when they paid recruits, too. Ole Miss are not "cheaters," they are cheaters. The Patriots are not "cheaters," they're cheaters.

...anyway. I have no love for the Patriots, their owners, coaches, or cynical shit show that is the NFL, but I’m happy for Brady’s time at Michigan. [Meant to say more good things about Brady but apparently I’ve won an enormous gift card from amazon]

I didn't know that Omameh was a starter, good for him. I remember he came in as a last second 2 star. Is he the only Michigan OL starter in the NFL?

Congrats to Tom Brady for going to yet another Super Bowl. Now it's time to sit back, relax and watch all the haters explode and complain that he only wins because of deflated footballs.

Son isn't excited for this Lions hire; I'm not sure I wanted to see Caldwell go either.

Still how can you not like a guy with that name.  That scary beard plus a feminine last name... he's strong... and yet.... in touch with his feminine side.  I walked up to the TV just in time to see him hugging it out with Belichick.
