Tom Brady has already cemented himself in as the best QB of all time so I'm not as invested as I have been in the past. I will say, it's nice that the other three teams remaining aren't the usual suspects (Seattle, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Denver, etc).

I feel you here. I said after last year Brady didn't have to win anything else because he's already the greatest ever. But to be this close again.. you kind of want to see him finish another one. If the Patriots aren't in it, the Super Bowl won't have any luster. Plus I want my paid day off on Super Bowl Sunday to be worth it.

All that I have heard about Brady’s hand injury is that it’s a laceration. Does anyone have any top secret, illicit MGoInfo with more details? Of course Belichek will guard this info better than the KGB.

to take an important deposition in a huge, billion $$ civil case, the kind that can make or break the career of a young(ish) law firm associate. I thought I'd get the hotel a little early and prep quietly into the night.

Unfortunately, it was the night of October 29, 2008. As my cab is making it up Broad St to the Ritz-Carlton a few feet from City Hall, the street starts filling up with lunatics like they're coming out of the sewers at night in Escape From New York. The Phillies had just won the World Series, and for the rest of the night, total anarchy outside that got more violent as the night wore on. Drunk mobs challenging cops (and winning). Smashing windows. Setting fires in the middle of Broad St. I got almost no sleep. Damn you, Philly hooligans. Damn you to hell.

Mulitply all that x1,000,000 if the Eagles win it all. That city is going to burn to the ground.

But mostly, I just wanted you all to know I stayed at the Ritz.

Go Jags. I know I am in the minority on here but I don't like the Patriots and I am tired of the same old storylines of slobbering all over the "Patriot way" and over Belichick and Brady. They deserve the credit they have gotten but I would be happier to see someone who hasn't won yet get that adulation. Getting another one for Brady won't change anything. He is already the GOAT. But I don't think (as many here seem to) that it is an obligation to root for him because he went to Michigan, as if by him winning these Super Bowls is some kind of validation. Ultimately, they may win, in part because of the Gronkowski mismatch potentially, but GO JAGS!

And on the other side, I can't root for a division rival to win and get to play on their home field for a Super Bowl.

I had forgotten where the SB was going to be held this year.

Still, I really DO like the matchup between Pats and either Eagles/Vikes AND the matchup between Jags and Eagles/Vikes -- but yeah, the site could indeed make a difference.

I'm gonna throw some score predictions down here, just to see how wrong I will be. I'm usually way the hell off, and I expect this to be no different.

Pats - 38

Jags - 31

Vikes - 23

Eagles - 20

Pats - 27

Vikes - 24

I do expect both games today to be very competitive, and quite close.
