Hallie Thome's catch and finish late in that game were impressive on a terrible seeming idea.  Big play, really.

Also Flaherty is a hilariously aggressive gunner.  Makes me laugh and think about Jordan Poole.

Yes, #8 Xavier back in 2009-10.

Michigan is 5-83 all-time against Top-10 teams. This program's history is not pretty as it was neglected for many years on top of never finding that one coach to turn it around like Gymnastics did with Bev Plocki and Softball with Hutch.

Field Hockey beat them twice

Volleyball beat them twice

Men's Soccer beat them

Men's Cross Country beat them

Women's Cross Country beat them

All of that occured this 2017-18 season. The other teams have nothing to do with Football being a disaster for 15 years.

The home loss to OSU was largely due to terrible strategy and game coaching by KBA -- which she admitted before yesterday's game.  Failing to get the ball inside to Thome, and keeping our best rebounder (Jillian Dunston) on the perimeter for virtually the entire game, playing the role of "distributor."  Yesterday, on the other hand, she changed the strategy and it worked to perfection.  Glad to see she could make the necessary adjustments. Onward and upward.

GO BLUE! What a great coach and team! I️ watched her get them ready for the pregame. She seems like a very knowledgeable coach. Somehow she reminds me of another very capable knowledgeable HOF coach in waiting!

That was a good game. They came out after halftime like a team that wanted to prove itself. On the road against a top ten opponent - nice to see. Nicole Munger's first career 20-point game, and it meant something. Flaherty shot her way out of a slump and carried the team for a while (as she so often does). Hallie Thome came up big, and even made a bunch of free throws (the team was 18 for 20). It will be nice to see Flaherty in the NCAA tournament for the first time. And I think they could make their first Sweet 16 in program history.
