The Quiet Captain of the Michigan Basketball Team Reaches 1,000 Points - Highlight Video

Submitted by GoBLUE_SemperFi on

Very fitting that 999 & 1,000 were to tie and win the game against Maryland. The leadership that he provides this young team is very impressive, truly one of the great stories of Michigan basketball.

All oI have seen today is back and forth posts of fake accounts, trolling and whatnot.  I did look to see if this had been posted.  In fact, I searched for it here, couldn't find it.

Mods...again, apologies...please delete the redundancy.

I don't remember seeing the video in the earlier post so I'm glad you posted it. It's great watching some of his moves. Maybe a dumb question about the finger roll at about 1:36. I can't really tell from the video if that actually went in. When I'm watching it kind of looks like it didn't? Or maybe it was just such a perfect angle that the net barely moved. Anyone else have any insight?

Delete...but to me, that cold glass of what you already know, should taste a little better than the hot piss of "what can we do about these trolls" that has been going on all day.

Probably doesn't help that the two minute video that is attached to that tweet...well, let's just say I'm not embedding it properly.  This thread is supposed to be a little more than, "guess what guys?!  MAAR has 1,000 points".

He's been a huge Beilein find and tremendous part of MBB.  I love his driving ability and 3 pt. shooting.  As a senior, this is his time to lead the team to great things - once again.

He is a great kid to watch. Is a great leader and you could tell on his face during the game. He was not going to miss those FT's. I'm sad this is his last year, but believe he can end his career with B2B Big Ten Tourney champs.

I would love to see him take it to another level late in the year like Walton did last year. We could definitely use it, and I love seeing seniors that have meant so much the this program cement their legacy as a player
