Despite all their shot luck in the first half, Maryland scored only 3 more points than our lowest first half total of the season coming into today. Yet they have a double digit lead because our offense can't do shit. If it wasn't for the second half of the OSU game, this would have been the ugliest half of basketball that I have ever seen.

That was the shittiest basketball I’ve seen this side of junior high. This game looks totally different if they even hit a couple of their wide open threes or lay ups though. Still in it I guess

half all season...did dodge a bullet about to go down 16 or 18 but staved it off and got it to 10 but Seriously they need a attitude adjustment and FAST

you must have missed osu the second half.  UM actually played decent D but just missed a lot of makeable shots.

against osu, they couldn't even get a quality shot in the second half.

Lets see Simmons get some minutes second half, at least over Brooks. Z is off and Simmons has a lot of energy which everyone else is lacking.

No one has been running the O well tonight. He's definitely been no worse than Brooks.

Also the switching is almost assuredly coming from the coaches. The coaches have probably told them to switch non big ball screens, they switch pretty much every off ball non big screen as is. Simmons can't just decide not to switch, that leaves a man wide open and gets him pulled.

Even if it was player choice, it's not like Duncan has been trying to switch back either so if Duncan stays with the ball handler, it's not like Simmons can leave his man open. My guess is the coaches adjust at half time and we see it fixed for the second half.

They look tired, which is understandable. But if they want to win this game, they are going to have to find another gear in the second half. Hopefully switching halves will switch their luck.
