Rebounding today

While I suspect that most recaps will correctly point to Wagner's performance and our ability to generate turnovers as the keys to the victory, I think one thing that may be overlooked is the fact that we more than held our own on the boards.  I saw this article before the game about Michigan's improvement in that area, and I think that showed in this game:

While MSU ended up outrebounding us by one today, 32-31, we had more offensive rebounds and in general this didn't look at all like some past games where the Spartys had too many second and third chances.  Anyway, today was an amazing win and there are a lot of reasons, but I think that parity on the boards was one of them.

I love the basketball team ever since Beilein took over. I admit after his 1st year I was confused and half way through his 4th year I was calling for his job. But ever since that win in East Lansing in 2010 Michigan basketball has been on fire winning big ten championships and becoming a consistent NCAA tourney team with middle of the big ten talent. Please for those that ever call for his job ever again think about what ur saying and then crawl back in your rat holes. GO BLUE HAIL BEILEIN!!
