Jalen Hurts

Submitted by Supa Hot Fire on

The sportsmanship displayed by Jalen Hurts in that game today was unbelievable. The way he was benched after being 25-2 as a starter, in the championship he dreamed of getting back to after last years' loss, and still supported his backup and team was amazing. We can all learn from it.

As an aside, Bama next year with this freshman is a scary thought. By far the best quarterback they have ever had.

EDIT: Best QB under Saban and in terms of talent. Most have been game managers

This is incredibly stupid.  Their freshman has played one half of football. He showed some talent, and he also made some huge mistkaes.  Calling him the best QB Alabama has ever had is laughable.

Tua was good. His performance was a mixed bag. But he was better than Hurts. That last pass was an amazing moment. Good look-off, bad coverage mistake, and a pinpoint pass. Stunning.

Hurts is a real transfer possibility, honestly. Tua is almost certain to start next year. Hurts would be appealing to guys like Dan Mullen and Chip Kelly, even (especially?) with a year off to develop.

and all three of Florida, UCLA and Nebraska seem like plausible destinations for him.

We oddly don't have Nebraska on the schedule in 2019, which is weird given that we play them next year.  So we just have a random one game against them and we're off again? Yet we play wisconson like 6 years in a row?  Big ten scheduling.  Wtf.

Stop drinking and go to bed...............Seriously best ever?  He had one good half after he threw a horrible pick.   That's football......unfortunately Michigan's had some really bad luck when it comes to stuff like this

Tua wanted to got to Oregon because of Mariota but Scott Frost recruited a different QB ahead of him

and it certainly didn't start the day you were. There can be many names brought into an argument with the words you threw around. However, there is not way you are going to summarily dismiss the names Namath and Saban and tell me you have the right one and not expect me to question your choice.
