Title Game Tonight - Who You Got?
Assuming you're watching the game and not boycotting on account of it being an all-SEC matchup, who you got in tonight's title game? Georgia? Alabama? Or the meteor?
I'd like to see Georgia win if for no other reason than I think it's good for the game to have someone other than Alabama win, but I can't bet against Nick Saban and what appears to now be his fully armed and operational Death Star. Especially now that he's got his whole team buying into the "no one thought you deserved to be here" mentality. I got Alabama 24-14. Georgia's defense plays well but Fromm gets harassed all night and Chubb/Michel can't ever get much going against a slew of defenders who will all go in the first or second round of the draft at some point.

kinda interesting that UCF went 12-0, and beat auburn in their bowl game. Who did both alabama and georgia lose to in the regular season?....none other than auburn

in the SEC Championship, so there's that.
UCF would not go undefeated in any of the P5 conferences. They are just "Champions of Life" at this point.

and I supposed this last season's Iowa team would never have a chance to beat OSU by a blowout margin...
and a 2-loss Auburn team would never have a chance against the juggernaut Alabama team in the Iron Bowl...
Etc., etc, etc,....
You have no idea what they would have done. The fact is, they played their season, won every game, including their conference championship. Upset happen, and games are decided on the field. They should have been given a shot.

So far no big SEC game (Auburn/Bama, Auburn/UGA Part I or II) has been watchable and I don't expect this one to be either. Tonight's going to be another reason to hate the SEC.

I work with a guy that graduated from Georgia and I cannot fathom the thought of them winning it all. Everyone knows Bama is Bama....so it is like a broken record at this point if they win another championship.

I want the Bulldogs to win b/c eff Bama, but I don't see it happening. So congrats to Bama for winning the national title without winning their own conference division, let alone conference title.
I hope the game is excited, but imagine it's going to be a boring rock fight of a game.

Well, the two SEC teams just beat two of the best teams in the country. And I think it's likely UCF would've been beaten badly by either of these teams. It's hard to come up with two amazing victories in a row against a superior opponent.

can't stomach satan and his team. son of very good. long-time buddy was QB at UGA and was with them at the rose bowl. had great stuff to say about rickt, et al, and i suspect the reason UGA never won it all is that they were about as clean as could be (not perfect) for an SEC school. so go dawgs.

By all accounts Mark Richt is a great man and his players love him. But he did not have the killer instinct needed to win titles. There is a reason that he consistently recruited like Alabama but performed about as well as Arkansas while he was at UGa. His teams folded like a cheap tent in almost every big game they played in. Or if they didn't get blown out, they found a way to lose. On top of losing 1-2 games every year that made you scratch your head and say "you lost to THEM?"
The guys who are out there winning titles consistently are the type A, alpha dog control freaks like Saban and Meyer. The ones who demand complete control of their program, demand perfection, perfect all the little things, and who have the vicious, ruthless mentality to beat you until you cry for mercy. And even after you cry for mercy, they get another punch or two in so you always remember who's boss.
Mark Richt doesn't fit that personality type at all.
