Brady earns his 3rd first team All-Pro selection in his NFL career
This overall total amazes me given his sheer dominance of the league, but congrats to Tom

Only 3rd? I don't follow these things but that sounds unbelievably low.

Brady doesn't put up the gaudy numbers every year that some of the QBs put up. He just wins and puts up almost the gaudy numbers they put up but every year

Peyton was first team most of the time when they were both in the AFC. Peyton put up the numbers, Tom keeps on winning.

Clearly the GOAT. Congrats to him. Also, my wife has a huge crush on him, so everytime she brings up how gorgeous he is, I always pull up this picture on my phone. Crazy how good he has been for so damn long.

It's amazing what massive success, celebrity, wealth, and a super model wife can do to a man's level of attractiveness...

And better hair.

...hundred pounds.

This picture is hilarious. I wish the nfl still took pictures like this at the combine.

but ESPN says the Patriots are about to implode...
January 5th, 2018 at 2:03 PM ^
Yeah, but how many Patriot of the Week awards has he won, huh?

ESPN article was good. I liked to see in the inside of the organization a little bit. Wouldn't surprise me if the TB12 guy gets pushed out by Brady too given that he's gotten injured despite listening to that guy. I think Belichek and Brady will get it figured out.

once the Pats are eliminated, Belichick will resign, and Quinn will be free to bring him on board in Detroit.

"Belichick will resign"
You're going to have to redirect your online social engineering resources to make that happen...
January 5th, 2018 at 2:17 PM ^
Just think what Brady could do if he didn't feel threatened by Belichik. This discontent means that the Pats are "careening" toward the end of their dynasty, according to ESPN radios self-coverage this afternoon.

congrats to Big Play Slay and Agnew as well!

belicheck. they are saying it is so bad that it might be their last year together. link here:
set up quote for the article is here:
After all, many in the Patriots' building knew that Brady's explosion wasn't really about McDaniels. It wasn't about Cooks. And it wasn't about the Bills game. It was about the culmination of months of significant behind-the-scenes frustrations. For almost two decades, Belichick has managed to subvert the egos of his best player, his boss and himself for the good of the team, yielding historic results. This year, though, the dynamics have been different.
could be big news in a month or two.

This sounds like a load of crap to me. A bunch of conjecture substantiated by quotes from “unnamed sources.”
The only thing it was missing was Jim Harbaugh as the lead candidate to replace Belichek.
The denial has already been issued co-signed by all three.

Just more of the same “click here” from guys that know nothing
January 6th, 2018 at 9:45 AM ^
Fake news.
January 5th, 2018 at 6:31 PM ^
The timing is odd too, everyone wants the Pats to go away. I hope the Goat wins #6
January 5th, 2018 at 6:45 PM ^
But did he win the player of the Patriots player of the week?

That's the kind of cowardly hit piece that has given journalism a bad name the last decade or so. Not a single named source. Just a litany of the same nastiness we've heard for years. First Belichick is a secretive Svengali, then he's such a weak, team-oriented stooge that he allows Garoppolo to be traded for a handful of magic beans.
Does anyone really believe Garoppolo, the 62nd pick of the 2014 draft, would be so damned good right out of the box for the 49ers if he weren't right there with Belichick and Brady, learning the trade?
The reason Brady only has three All-Pros is that there are physically more gifted quarterbacks who teams have built franchises around. What New England has is this relationship between Belichick, who has such a great understanding of defense that he can design this route-reading system to break down just about anything. And Brady has the football brains and enough physical talent to execute it perfectly.
It's a coach/player relationship that, if they had an award for it, Brady/Belichick would win every year. Both are unanimous first-ballot Hall of Famers.
