If Alabama played the Browns the event would be bigger than Mayweather vs. McGregor. Except Alabama wouldn't even come close to winning.

There was one point where Conor made the debatable below the belt hit. Right then it looked like Conor could have knocked Mayweather out if he didn't turn his back. I don't really know though. Mayweather was clearly the better fighter.

Probably the worst place to ask this but is anyone coping well with our loss today? I'm considering deactivating social media due to Sparty/derpmedia presence. I find myself getting more and more irritated as the night drags on. Tough year.

I kind of just shrugged the loss off. Used to losing in stupid ways under Harbaugh.

2016 OSU is when I went completely bonkers (even managed to overcome 2015 MSU since I thought it was a fluke [lol guess not!]) and every loss since then has just been more toned down in terms of reactions because I'm just numb to it at this point in my fandom.

Alabama up 17-3.  The SEC is going to have two teams in the National Championship.

FML.

Well at least the Big Ten went 8-0 in bowl games.

Wait . . . what?

Neg away if you need to, but this is why the committee's decision made sense to me, Alabama's ridiculous recruiting basically always makes them one of the 4 best teams in college football, and if your objective is to take the best teams, not the most deserving teams, if Alabama is anywhere near qualified for the playoff, you take them.

90% of the country won’t give a fuk. Might as well get used to it the way Georgia and Bama are recruiting. I thought Harbaugh was going to be the one to knock them off their perch and I believe SEC country did too but that doesn’t appear it’s going to happen.

Watching these two semifinals leads me to believe only OSU in the B1G is recruiting the size and speed needed to play at this level. My wife walks in and watches 30 seconds and says: this still college football? They’re so much faster and better than the game earlier.

Well I'm not watching the Natty this year. As a school teacher it's tough to stay up on a random January Monday anyhow. In future years where the playoffs don't fall on a Monday They should flex some muscle on the NFL and make it a night game on the following Saturday anyway. They could have the Saturday divisional nfl games at 1/430.
