Barrett likely to commit

My son goes to school with Barrett and Goss and says that Barrett is likely to pull the trigger this weekend. He doesn't run in the same circles as Goss so no real info there. Barrett is a winner and used to performing at a high level. Good get for UM in my opinion.

Mike Barrett moved from linebacker to QB for his high school team. It appears the move occurred junior year. Some of his early high school tape is exclusively at LB.

Jalen Goss was recruited by some P5 schools as a TE. He has mentioned that how much his parents like the school and educational opportunites will be big factors.

But his tenacity in making sure he gets up to AA this weekend shows hos desire to be part of the program.  IIRC, Higdon had the same travel issue and that worked out well.
