It isn’t your money so you’re a lucky bastard.
December 6th, 2017 at 8:47 PM ^
Yours too. I don't get my tickets for free.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:30 PM ^
Hmmm, here comes another tool to put on Jay Harbaugh's belt.
EDIT: Beat me to it by seconds.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:31 PM ^
TEs and RBs are our two strongest offensive position groups. So not the worst idea.
December 6th, 2017 at 10:27 PM ^
Both the TE’s and RB’s produced under his watch, but both positions underachieved as far as blocking is concerned. Specifically pass blocking.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:30 PM ^
He’s being replaced by Franklin Hatchett
December 6th, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
bruh..
December 6th, 2017 at 4:33 PM ^
Imma bad Michigan fan
December 6th, 2017 at 4:42 PM ^
Appreciate it! Any other Easter eggs you feel like spilling?
December 6th, 2017 at 4:35 PM ^
As long as we keep Zordich I’m happy. Was never overwhelmed with the safety play, and at times it felt like our Achilles heel.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:38 PM ^
It’s going to be Devin Bush Sr as the new position coach.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:41 PM ^
enter Jordan Kovacs
December 6th, 2017 at 4:46 PM ^
in that role. DB Sr. is probably the safer bet as we can also unleash him on the recruiting trail.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:14 PM ^
That Partridge thing seems to have worked out.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:49 PM ^
I like!
December 6th, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
It seems like just yesterday when some were freaking out about losing Greg Jackson. Congrats to Brian Smith on the promotion. Always good to see our assistants move up as it makes the job that much more attractive for the next man up with the opportunity for career advancement and stability at the top with Harbaugh and Don Brown.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:51 PM ^
When your defenses produce like ours have, teams are going to come calling for your coaches. Thankfully Don Brown has said he's too old to consider anymore promotions or go anywhere else.
December 6th, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
Well, he knows Brown's system well. It'd be nice to have an expierienced candidate with ties when DB does retire...
December 6th, 2017 at 5:46 PM ^
From me on, please do not refer to Don Brown as DB.....too many bad memories from someone else with those initials!
December 6th, 2017 at 5:46 PM ^
*From now on
December 6th, 2017 at 4:54 PM ^
Brian Smith is Don Brown's guy. I could potentially see him as a future DC candidate for us way down the road if Rice proves to be a success.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:01 PM ^
Is it possible Harbaugh is giving a firm handshake here? I think safeties may have underperformed at times this year. I wonder if we move Zordich to coach all DB's, and get ourselves a true WR coach.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:27 PM ^
That is not typically how firm handshakes work.
Also, we don't need to increase Zordich's role as the 10th asst coach position should be approved to start by Spring Camp.
December 6th, 2017 at 6:10 PM ^
Sounds to me like an opportunity he couldn't pass up.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:02 PM ^
He was a great coach and I think that harbs will bring someone as good, if not better into the program
December 6th, 2017 at 5:13 PM ^
we also need a dedicated special teams coach
December 6th, 2017 at 8:22 PM ^
No, we don't.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:16 PM ^
Best wishes if he ultimately departs.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:26 PM ^
So there's an opening for Woodson?
December 6th, 2017 at 5:27 PM ^
Love thissssss
December 6th, 2017 at 7:01 PM ^
Why do people assume that formers players can , much less desire, coach?
December 6th, 2017 at 7:40 PM ^
is much longer than the one of those who've had significant success.
December 7th, 2017 at 12:51 AM ^
Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach.
December 7th, 2017 at 10:33 AM ^
Every now and then you see a mediocre athlete make a great coach. Be interesting to run some numbers on that.
I wonder sometimes if for great athletes its hard because the are so good. Be like Barry coaching running backs. 'Get the ball, then avoid all the defenders until you get a touchdown'.
December 7th, 2017 at 7:26 AM ^
It's really one of the dumbest ongoing ideas found on mgoblog message boards.
December 7th, 2017 at 2:45 PM ^
I agree but Mike Hart is actually a coach so he gets a pass.
December 6th, 2017 at 5:39 PM ^
Enter Jordan Kovacs
December 6th, 2017 at 5:55 PM ^
Rice has decided to solve their problems with aggression.
December 6th, 2017 at 6:00 PM ^
I want Matt Patricia in. Part of a good defense is having a coach who has a kick-ass beard.
I know this is unrealistic. Patricia may end up getting NFL HC offers soon.
December 6th, 2017 at 6:12 PM ^
I can make myself available.
December 6th, 2017 at 9:48 PM ^
I thought you might have a price
December 6th, 2017 at 6:27 PM ^
People complaining about our safeties: "What we have a unit that is only above average?"
Brian Smith did a good job, best of luck to him. The defense was not our issue this year.
December 6th, 2017 at 7:08 PM ^
I was hoping he was next in line to take over whenever don brown retires since he's worked under him before Michigan. I'm interested in who all goes this offseason and see what harbaugh does with the open spots. Does he add the 10th spot to offense or defense
December 6th, 2017 at 7:36 PM ^
We need a dedicated wide receivers coach
December 6th, 2017 at 7:20 PM ^
Hmm. I thought all along that was Zordich
December 6th, 2017 at 8:57 PM ^
From what I saw, the source of the rumor never actually said which coach. It was implied.
December 7th, 2017 at 8:53 AM ^
!997 national champ would be a good addition.
December 7th, 2017 at 9:49 AM ^
Our defensive backs have been excellent since he came and though they were a talented group to begin with, he has turned them into one of the most consistently good position groups on the team. He'd be a big loss if true.
