is that the three coming to visit Michigan will (hopefully) stick with that through the weekend. They may not have even been interested if there were no limitations previously.

No. It's not bad for us. It puts the pressure on the NCAA to allow waivers because some of the players have said it wasn't just Ole Miss that misled them but actual NCAA officials as well. This will be a PR nightmare for them if they try to restrict them and a legal battle they could easily lose. And quickly. For now it is just the school. It won't stay that way.

As for the SEC being involved, I wouldn't worry too much about that. The guys we want are interested in us and have to make quick decisions. They are actually speaking with JH today and visiting with around 10 days or so to make up their minds. I am not worried a bit. I think we're pulling 3 of them.

May change things a little bit, if a guy is looking to stay closer to home and wants to continue getting SEC benefits from a different school. They are looking to play right away, so Michigan is a agreat option at QB, Safety, OT, and WR.

I think we get Patterson and Jefferson for sure. Anderson would start for us if comes. And of course OT would start if they came also.

If we get those four guys, I love me some hugh freeze and ole miss. Those four guys easily make Michigan the favorites to win the big ten and beyond. It fills all the holes with nfl level talent. Harbaugh I sure hope you close. I see he is not messing around flying down to have lunch with anderson.

Offensive line LT Little LG Bredeson C Ruiz RG Onwenu RT Hudson  WR Van Jefferson, Black, DPJ, Perry, Martin.  Safetys Anderson, Kinnel or Woods. You guys knnow the rest and it leaves Michigan with no weaknesses. Just a ton of guys who will be getting drafted into the nfl. The o-line and QB will become positions of strength, not weakness. The secondary could become one of the best in the country. The corners are all ready there. The running backs will have more space to run with the offense wide open. Unreal receiving corps with tight end match up nightmares and a Qb who can hurt you in many different ways. No linebackers coming but we don't need them as linebacking corps is only going to be faster and deeper than last year.

Unreal what these four players could do for this team. Patterson may actually be the least needed of the four, but ya will still take him. Starting LT, QB, S, WR. All starters with nfl talent. HARBAUGH....... close the deal.......NC on the way.

It's funny that the players and parents who benefitted from the con$ideration$ that got Mississippi in trouble would now be outraged that the Universty's problems could now inconvenience them.

I got this from a couple of SEC boards.

From the owner of another site:

"Not sure if public yet, but have been told Sankey sent memo to all SEC schools. No OM players will be allowed to transfer within the conference."

They don't want 13 teams picking at the carcus of OM as that won't be fair. So this is still happening for the boys in Blue.

A lot of cash withdrawals from banks in the SE United States today!  Bag men have been given the green light.  Someone more tech savvy than myself would create a .gif of Bourne "assets" getting the go, with SEC luminary faces superimposed as appropriate.
