Thank goodness. Now send all our young talent to Europe and have them develope. I had high hopes for a Jordan Morris, but I think him staying home in WA was a bad professional move. Perhaps the best personal, but he is gonna stall in development just like Juan Aguadelo.

Obviously Gulati leaving does not solve all of U.S Soccer's problem but getting new leadership is the first step towards the organization being run properly (so long as one of his minions from US Soccer Marketing doesn't win the election but I think the voters know anything Sunil touches becomes a turd)

Kathy Carter would probably stand a better chance without his public endorsement. now she’s got no shot. It’s too bad, because we could probably use a female voice at the head of USSF (though I’d prefer one with no SUM ties).

Getting his incompetent ass out of the USSF is a necessary step toward rebuilding our wrecked USMNT and getting the USWNT some more support.  The only nice thing I can say about Gulati is that he did not seem crooked - just inept.

I long for the day that US soccer is a real threat to win a World Cup. We have some of the best athletes in the world. We just need better development of soccer schemes and skill.
