This would be huge. Does anyone know if we are in on Anthony Bradford from Muskegon? And if not, why? He looked like an absolute beast in the state final.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:50 PM ^
He is only a 3 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
On a serious note, he has an interesting offer sheet: Bama, OSU, MSU, Minnesota offers and PSU / ND interest but no MAC or FCS offers.

We have emoji’s!?

~`|•√π÷׶∆£¢€¥^°={}\%©®™✓[]>@#$_&-+(/)"':;!?* and, of course, anything like ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ that you can copy and paste.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:09 PM ^
Not every recruit reports them all. Also, why would an FCS school bother to offer 3* recruits?
November 26th, 2017 at 8:00 PM ^
Top level FCS schools usually get a select number of 3* guys. If you look at NDSU, they've gotten a number of 3* guys
November 26th, 2017 at 6:54 PM ^
It does not look like he has an offer from Michigan yet.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:15 PM ^
Last I heard Sparty offered him as an athlete after he re opened his recruitment. He was committed to UCF as a QB.
IMHO we would be foolish not to at least offer him as an ATH like sparty did. That kid is a BEAST of an athlete.
November 27th, 2017 at 7:09 AM ^
Different guy, that was Jefferson the QB
November 26th, 2017 at 6:01 PM ^
I️ am really hoping he joins the good guys.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:01 PM ^
I don’t think the staff will take another QB. I think it will be BP, DMac then the freshies.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:03 PM ^
I assume Malzone will get the handshake too.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:09 PM ^
Was hoping Speight could provide some competitive depth. Oh well.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:14 PM ^
Malzone is a redshirt sophomore.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:17 PM ^
Yeah but I believe he is graduating this spring
November 26th, 2017 at 6:33 PM ^
Pretty sure a scholarship is guaranteed for 4 years so he has 1 more year don’t matter if he graduates
November 26th, 2017 at 6:43 PM ^
If he graduates he can transfer and immediately be eligible elsewhere. That's why it's relevant
November 26th, 2017 at 6:47 PM ^
Going to see a meaningful snap At Michigan. He could go to CMU and follow Shane - who had a fairly decent year against MAC competition.
It still gives him a minor chance at the next level if he becomes Drew Brees 2.0 in 2 years starting at a MAC school.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:49 PM ^
(Year-round classes) to give the potential for a 2-yr grad transfer is why so many QBs do it these days.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:29 PM ^
Given how injuries killed Michigan at qb this year, I’d like to have Malzone back. True freshman seldom are ready.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:32 PM ^
Never mind. Spath says Malzone plans to transfer in the spring.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:36 PM ^
November 26th, 2017 at 6:49 PM ^
Sorry to say, it's easy to imagine he'll look for more playing time elsewhere.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:58 PM ^
Would definitely like to see Mone and Marshall back.
How disappointing for Ian Bunting? I really thought he was going to be a big contributor, especially this year with Butt in the NFL.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:21 PM ^
Neither back would be a serious blow to our depth. In any case, I hope Jeter will be ready to contribute. I think he would have played this season if not for injury.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:41 PM ^
Ol skillet hands. Probably going to follow WS.
November 26th, 2017 at 8:46 PM ^
nice stretch there. you could say they all are going to follow wilt. you have no knowledge whatsoever.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:50 PM ^
thought he played well yesterday, wouldn't mind him for DT depth
November 26th, 2017 at 11:45 PM ^
especially with Hurst leaving.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:40 PM ^
Winovich is on that list too. Obviously that decision will be up to him.
November 26th, 2017 at 8:06 PM ^
I think our TE’s are going to be awesome next year (especially Gentry), but what happened to Bunting this year? He seemed like he was going to be the man this year and then just disappeared.
November 27th, 2017 at 11:29 AM ^
and the odd thing is, he actually blocked a lot better this year. We played him for blocking but almost never sent him out in routes, which I thought was very odd. McKeon and Gentry might be a little faster than him but Bunting appeared to be the better pass catcher from what we saw in earlier years (Gentry and McKeon had a decent number of drops/mistakes).
We just had too many TEs this year, all pretty good, none elite.
November 27th, 2017 at 2:05 AM ^
Marshall still has another year of eligibility? Jesus. Seems he's been here forever. Probably because his name kept coming up in practice hype his first couple years so I already thought he was a senior then.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:58 PM ^
From what I saw on another site, he is on Pace to graduate early and is probably grad transfering with 2 years of eligibility left.
Edit: should have read a little further down to see this was discussed in depth lol
November 26th, 2017 at 6:02 PM ^
Even though Michigan was already the leader in CB, nice to see a national guy predict one more for the good guys.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:03 PM ^
Also CB'd 3 Star 2018 TE Tommy Tremble to UM.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:05 PM ^
Tremble had been seen as a ND lock until this visit
November 26th, 2017 at 6:10 PM ^
I’ll take any TE that ND is recruiting.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:38 PM ^
He’s been offered by:
ND
UGA
UCLA
Auburn
So yeah, kid seems legit. His rating and offer list don’t seem to match up.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:49 PM ^
His rating and Jr highlights don't add up. Maybe because he is light for the position. Although as a flex te/jumbo wr he has 4* tape.
November 27th, 2017 at 12:00 AM ^
Tremble seems kinda shaky to me.
November 27th, 2017 at 12:28 AM ^
causes Notre Dame to Tremble, tremble, tremble...
November 26th, 2017 at 6:19 PM ^
Have to assume Hayes ends up at tackle with 3 tight ends in this class, right?
November 26th, 2017 at 6:23 PM ^
was always the plan, but I think that's solidified now. There are going to be about 8 tackles on the team next year. Two of the them are hopefully competent enough to play. It looks like things went very well with Petit-Frere as well.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:38 PM ^
Lots of early buzz about Andrew Stueber.
3 star, but a lot written about how the lack of competition in CT may have hrurt him in that regard. But if Filiaga is more a Guard than Tackle as I've read from some posters on here, have to wonder if there's a chance for this kid.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:55 PM ^
Can't wait to see how Filiaga turns out. I think he will be one of guys we least have to worry about.
November 26th, 2017 at 6:55 PM ^
The only center on the roster next season is Ruiz.
There will be 9 tackles (accoding to the MGoDepthChart) next season. JBB, Newsome, Ulizio, Runyan, Stueber, Filiaga, Hudson, Mayfield, and Hayes. JBB may not be retained and Newsome might not be able to play. Those are the two seniors on next year's team. Petit-Frere pending.
There are 6 guards on next year's team, but those spots seem to be pretty well locked up by Bredeson and Onwenu. Behind them are Spanellis, Vastardis, Honigford, and Hall. Rumler is a 2019 guy.
I could see Filiaga moving inside, but will be get buried? I might actually try him at Center, which is (IMO) the most important line spot for Harbaugh's offense. He could spell Ruiz on some plays and could get 2 full years as a starter.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:16 PM ^
Filiaga is only one year behind Ruiz in eligibility, two years behind Bredeson and Onwenu. Guard looks like a better path to playing time. Also, have we ever rested our center? That would seem to be the most disruptive move you could make during a game.
November 26th, 2017 at 7:24 PM ^
i know theyve repped spanellis at C which makes sense given roster composition. and hes a smart, stout kid so wouldnt be at all shocked to see spanellis continue repping at C and OG. if only to further examine what they have, plus i know they like rotating guys across the line when possible (ie bowl sessions, spring ball, camp). never hurts to experiment. maybe they end up liking ruiz more at OG and want to try others at C. who knows. but C is a huge spot
