OT: MSU tied with DePaul at halftime
The world's greatest team since the 76' Hoosiers is tied at half after being down 6 to the Blue Demons.

I don't even know where DePaul is but let's go DePaul!

The Chi dude.

Paul. It’s French for “from Paul.” Duh.

Izzo at it again. At halftime, he said he was playing a walk on and two freshman. Said he was playing a "bizarre lineup" out there

Have any of Michigan's football coaches complained about injured QBs, Newsome being out, the WRs being freshmen (and hurt), the D being young, Hill being out?
I don't recall it.

Actually Lloyd did a few times in 2007 with Henne

As Lloyd said, That's not an excuse, that's a fact.

ok....but still stands true. injuries are both excuses and facts. I've never understood the argument no matter what coach says it.

Kay got it on until Wifey wants to resume this Manchester by the Sea tearjerker.
DePaul is physical. But sloooooow

This belongs on an MSU blog. GTFO. You know we play Ohio St this weekend right? Why the fuck do we care about the halftime score of an MSU basketball game that they’ll probably still win by 15? Pathetic
November 24th, 2017 at 7:17 AM ^
Maybe we need to start caring more about MSU. Their fans vocally hate us with a passion and it carries through to their teams.
Their football radio broadcast does a "my second favorite team" update...and everytime I've listened it is whoever our opponent is, even if they need us to win to help them in the standings. I have to put up with so many MSU fans being total dicks about the rivalry out of the blue without them even knowing that they are being a dick - it comes natural to them.
Meanwhile our coaches say the MSU game is just another game and our fans get shunned for mentioning MSU.
November 24th, 2017 at 3:06 PM ^
Why does this mean we should give any fucks what they’re doing if we’re not playing them? Because some stupid podunk local radio show plays a bit on that against us? Yeah okay, good idea. Beat Ohio State. Beat Michigan State when we play them in basketball, whatever else they do we don’t give any fucks. Certainly not a good look dancing on their graves about some halftime score in a game they win by more than 20.

I am not saying we should care about half time scores. I am saying that we don't match MSU's intensity.
It isn't their local radio show that does that - it is their official MSU broadcast that brings up their hatred of Michigan, along with their fans and coaches. The message sent to their players is this game makes a player a legend.
On the other hand our coaches call it another game and many of our fans shun any mention of anything MSU on this board unless we are playing them. The message sent to our players is it is not much different than playing Minnesota for the Little Brown Jug.

where the OP says his buckeye friend told him that REM was going to play at halftime.

but what's the FTA disparity?

MSU, a team with no shooters.

About anything MSU does in any sport.
November 24th, 2017 at 10:37 AM ^
Overtaking MSU in either sport would be a step in the right direction for UM athletics. MSU plays in the same conference/division.. those are important things.

The soccer team beat them

The lamer the threads get. A downward spiral into the abyss...

Only you and Caputo state up for this game!
UConn will test them
