offense and the team generated 100 yards in the 2nd half and only 10 points? After only 10 vs MSU and 14 vs PSU.
Plus, Brown was flat out schooled in the 2nd half. Christ is a fantastic playcaller and he just manipulated Brown in the 2nd half.

At some point the staff needs to be help accountable for being unable to coach an OL that isn’t a death sentence for quarterbacks. It’s not just bad luck that our qbs got hurt. They weren’t hurt twisting an ankle in practice or blowing an acl running the ball. They were hurt because they got smashed when the OL completely shit themselves against a stunt or a blitz. Lose a game, fine, whatever. But this hasn’t been getting players crushed for a whole season and it’s an embarrassment and a danger to the players. Would you want your kid playing behind any of the last five Michigan offensive lines?

just wait til 2022
November 19th, 2017 at 2:51 AM ^
We'll be a very young team, then. Hold off until 2023, maybe '24.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:46 PM ^
I’m 49 years old and can not believe we’ve never been to the game.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:46 PM ^
Can’t wait till next year with some experience on both sides of the ball
November 18th, 2017 at 6:36 PM ^
Wait till next year should just be added to the lyrics of hail to the victors at this point.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:46 PM ^
We need to fire Trevno and hire In Pete Stuursma from Hope College
November 18th, 2017 at 4:54 PM ^
thanks for the tip Pete.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:46 PM ^
I’ve wanted to defend Harbaugh for the past 3 years, he has zero wins against decent teams on the road. He really screwed this game up as it was clear Wisconsin coaching staff made much better adjustments in the 2nd half. We should have dominated this game. Players lost enthusiasm and will, coaches had no answers for a rather basic offense that Wisconsin runs.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:47 PM ^
I would have liked to have seen a more ball control type passing game. Give Peters quick and easy reads on curls and hitches; those are bigger targets.
Too many lower percentage passes.
I know we'll all wonder "what if" on the DPJ TD catch, but things turned for the worse (besides the Peters injury) when Bush's interception resulted in 3 instead of 7.
Higdon not being healthy hurt; Evans was incredibly hesitant running with the ball.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:47 PM ^
Would love to see more quick hitting passes everything seems to be 10+ yards down the field ... no slants , screens etc
November 18th, 2017 at 4:01 PM ^
to the running back and it was completely blown up. Never tried it again.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:47 PM ^
Even during the Hoke years I was excited to take on Ohio. This one coming up I don’t see any hope. I hate to say it, but this whole season is a pile of shit now. Go Blue- here’s to next year- again.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:56 PM ^
This Meh about OSU week since the RR years...
November 18th, 2017 at 5:51 PM ^
Your memory has holes. What was Carr's record against OSU?
November 18th, 2017 at 3:58 PM ^
At least you knew Hoke was saving a lot of stuff for OSU. Can't say the same for Harbaugh. It's gonna be ugly next week.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:48 PM ^
Another week with no creativity on offense .
November 18th, 2017 at 3:48 PM ^
Don Brown did not lose this game. Michigan just does not have the personnel yet. Combine that with season injuries to our top two QB's, top two RB's, best O lineman and best CB, there wasn't a lot of chance to win this game. And thanks to the Big Ten refs who have no interest in protecting players' healtlh, we are now going to be back to JOK against the darlings of the conference next week.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:52 PM ^
Possibly our best WR ....
November 18th, 2017 at 3:53 PM ^
How many years does he need to win a big game?
November 18th, 2017 at 4:03 PM ^
Wisconsin was missing their best LB (lost in fall camp), their center and their top two wrs.
November 19th, 2017 at 2:55 AM ^
"And thanks to the Big Ten refs who have no interest in protecting players' healtlh"
It's the O-line's job to protect the QB's health.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:49 PM ^
The coaches quit when they ran it on the 3rd and long just before W's first touchdown. Such a lack of confidence by them, so they run it with a 100% known outcome of failure.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:50 PM ^
Outcoached.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:50 PM ^
Felt this thing was going south as soon as they were running wildcat on 3rd and 8, then burning all their TOs during the first quarter because plays couldn't get off the sideline.
If things were running 100% smoothly and the team wasn't executing, that's one thing. But when it's consistently both....
November 18th, 2017 at 4:04 PM ^
up the middle as well
November 18th, 2017 at 3:50 PM ^
Honestly I’d just like to win a big game. Any game. We have accomplished zero under Harbaugh. I get it. He’s fun. Wake me when we beat a ranked opponent on the road or Ohio State.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:51 PM ^
I understand we are a young team but for the love of god all I've heard about since Harbaugh was hired was how great we are going to be. We have 4and 5 star recruits and we can't beat Wisconson. There are so many problems with this team I don't know where to start. Our offense is abismall.
November 18th, 2017 at 4:03 PM ^
the coaching
November 18th, 2017 at 3:52 PM ^
LOL at Brian and Ace predicting an RPS bonanza. We ran a pass to the FB. Wild stuff.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:52 PM ^
How the fuck do you have to burn all 3 TOs in the first fucking quarter b/c the play clock is running down? Especially when the first 10-15 plays are scripted!
November 18th, 2017 at 3:53 PM ^
I think the "fire Harbaugh" take is dumb, so for the people who believe he should be fired, who do you suggest we hire? I'm genuinely curious.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:55 PM ^
Agree - a bunch of idiot fans who couldn’t coach their way out of their own home
November 18th, 2017 at 3:58 PM ^
A couple hot take idiots who is saying fire Harbaugh?
November 18th, 2017 at 4:43 PM ^
How about Les Miles? He's a Michigan Man and willing to put it all out there to win the game...Harbaugh looks like he doesn't even give a darn....
November 18th, 2017 at 5:37 PM ^
Maybe we're not a perennial powerhouse anymore. Maybe it's time we start changing our expectations. Shit, it's been over a decade since we were in a great position to win the B10 or have significant national success.
So who are we comparable to? Wisconsin? Auburn? Georgia? I don't have answers, but this stinks and I hate it.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:53 PM ^
JH is always making noise about competing and having an edge. this staff has no edge. the team fucking blows and the staff is not good enough to make them not blow. there has got to be a new approach next season because there is no reason to believe that our talent level will be materially better than it is now moving forward
November 18th, 2017 at 3:58 PM ^
we need a running backs coach, an offense of coordinator and a tight ends coach. How we lit Wheatley getaway was a tragedy. Harbaugh's son is not ready at this level. we had a real chance at establishing a run game early on. instead of running it again after substantial gains two plays in a row in the first drive we go to pass play. Just dumb play calling and coaching all around it seems.
November 18th, 2017 at 3:55 PM ^
Team is too professional it needs more fuckin heart and fire
November 18th, 2017 at 3:55 PM ^
Squandered too many chances in first 35 minutes and napped on bouncing punt or we might have built a lead this young team could have hung onto. When Peters was knocked out, we seemed to get tired and the last 20 minutes was all Wisconsin. Seriously not sure if that reflects injury bug, youth, lack of qb depth, but college football in general runs up and down that way. We were in position to win this game until Peters knocked out.
November 18th, 2017 at 4:08 PM ^
It seemed pretty obvious that the team does not have a ton of faith in JOK and the energy came out of them when Peters went down. Which shouldn't happen, but they're kids.
Personally, I still think people are underrating that it's hard to win a ton of football games without contributions from fifth or fourth year players. We've got:
Hill, Poggi (low impact position), Cole (playing out of position), Kugler (who is not great), Isaac (frequently injured), Speight (injured) on offense.
On defense it's Hurst and McCray. And that's basically it for even contributors. Not just starters. From two entire classes that should be your leadership and the core of the team.
Harbaugh took last year's loaded senior class and lost a coin flip spot/review to make the playoff. Sometimes shit happens. We have had too much shit happen to us over the last decade, I won't deny that. But the hot take artists are insufferable, because they expect literal perfection at all times.

November 18th, 2017 at 3:56 PM ^
This offense used to be creative. What happened to WR screens, jet sweeps, fake screens into a pass down the seam to a wide open tight end?? Now it's just tight end curl routes and overthrown deep shots. Fuck, it's college football, even underthrowing deep shots works out like 50% of the time with a receiver going back to the ball or getting interfered with. We keep getting told that the offense goes into a shell against bad teams so that we don't put anything new on tape. Well wtf did we put on tape today? Chris Evans wildcat? It didn't work with Jabrill, and it's not gonna work with Evans. Lastly, why aren't we rolling Peters out more, especially in this game? The Big Ten leader in sacks vs. the 2nd worst pass pro oline in the Big Ten. No shit he got injured. Roll the guy out and at least take away some of the space where players can blitz from. Leaving him in the pocket all day set him up for blindside hits the whole fucking day
November 18th, 2017 at 3:56 PM ^
Why do people constantly stick up for these two? The team is young and injured, but O’Korn looks clueless on the field. Harbaugh HAS to make moves, or his bubble will slowly start to burst.
November 18th, 2017 at 4:20 PM ^
mgodelusion. people need to come up with excuses so they don't have to admit Michigan isn't a good program right now, and hasn't been since 2006
November 18th, 2017 at 4:37 PM ^
The offense looks absolutely lost. This is just as bad as Hoke’s offenses. Changes need to be made or he’ll be somewhat on the hot seat going into next season.
