We NEED a legit special teams coach.

It’s become apparent that, believe it or not, you can’t just plug-n-play random dudes in there to maintain the Baxter success.

Huh, who would’ve thought?

Kick returns are a joke.  Punt returns are mostly a joke.  Kickoff coverage is actually pretty good.  Punt coverage is decent (today's touchdown aside) although many kicks are returned with no defenders in the picture.

Its brad robbins. Hes not even inconsistant hes been awful besides parts of today. The first punt of the game was terrible. He has no power or hang time

But I think someone needs to sit down with DPJ and tell him he can't be trying to do the spectacular return every time...sometimes (most of the time), catch it, run forward 7-10 yards, and accept that.

The difference in lost yardage on punts between him and Peppers is probably 45-50 yards a game, and combine that with the difference between Allen and Robbins which is probably another 45-50 yards a game, that ends up being pretty significant.

That punt return for a TD was stupid. You should never let that happen. Ever. Game has a different feel if you don't play from behind after that.
