I was under the impression that Harbugh and his minions were meta-game planners. I'm not seeing that whatsoever in the three years of Harbaugh's tenure. The coaches do not develop gameplans that work to our players' advantages. It's maddening.

Program is a mess. usually u are excited about the next season when u have lots of talent coming back and a good season. But if we end up 8-5 and probably not have a single win against a top-25 team how can anyone realistically believe this team will win the big ten next year

But I don't think anyone here thinks Michigan is winning the B1G next year. If by chance they do then they are absolutely delusional. Next year there will be improvement albeit 1+ in the W column.

I have that same question on lack of achievement. This is getting old real quick. Truthfully it has been old for years now. It didnt start with Harbaugh nor has it changed with Harbaugh. It is so frustrating seeing other teams pass us by  while Michigan is stuck in place. If excuses won NC's then our trophy case is filling up fast. I am going to bet Tom Herman will have Texas back before Harbaugh has Michigan back. Look at the dumpster fire Herman walked into.

8-3 is about where I expected us to be record wise, it's just unacceptable how we look. The same mistakes every week. Not looking for the ball, penalties, not able to pick up blitzes.

Our offense is rough .. but you just CAN NOT say our D is unacceptable.  They can't do it all and the offense needs to be at least average.  That is hard to do when ... both QBs are down .. possibly our best WR has been injured for awhile now .. 2 RBs down and a starting O lineman .... and our WR's that are in there don't catch balls in traffic.  The offense for sure needs to catch up ... but this D has done a damn good job this season.

You might be setting yourself up for the same disappointment "next year". Might wanna hold out for 2019. We might sniff success and a 1 loss season then. Next year is a 3 loss season IF not another 8-4 like this year.

I think the O-line's pass blocking is borderline dangerous for us and has cost us both Peters and Speight. I don't know if it is coaching or inexperience, but this cannot keep happening.

Cannot believe everyone in this thread ripping the one guy that is the reason this team isn’t a complete dumpster fire, rather than the half dumpster fire it is now.

So, on the other hand, is there a single coach on the offensive side that should keep his job after this year? I can’t think of a single one. But I bet they’re all back anyways on the premise of this being a rebuilding year and injuries.
