Failure to communicate

My sons would never play for that man.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:17 PM ^
Probably because they’re not athletically gifted enough.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:55 PM ^
Haha your a fool homie.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:59 PM ^
you're
November 13th, 2017 at 12:37 PM ^
Really? Hahaha. Grammar police on the internet.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:11 PM ^
Issues aside, dude has a pretty strong track record of winning and coaches one of the more traditionally prominent teams.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:25 PM ^
Eh. His only other great year at Notre Dame is the year he lucked his way into the championship against Bama. Everything other year is 8-4 or so.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:30 PM ^
Or 4-8.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:05 PM ^
When have they gone 4-8?
November 11th, 2017 at 11:11 PM ^
Last year. Worst since a 3-9 campaign under Weis.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:08 PM ^
last year
November 11th, 2017 at 10:33 PM ^
ND/Kelly, but I think it's a stretch to say he lucked into the championship game.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:39 PM ^
They were a decent team that had a significant amount of luck and got exposed by Bama. Much like 2015 MSU
November 11th, 2017 at 11:06 PM ^
I wish we could be that lucky
November 12th, 2017 at 12:58 AM ^
Not sure if serious. You really wish that we could get lucky to make it to the playoffs just to get destroyed? Are you a fan of Bob Stoops?
November 12th, 2017 at 9:15 AM ^
Fucking Bob Stoops won a national title, played for 3 more, and made a playoff. Of course I'm a fan of that...what's wrong with you? I'd rather go to the championship and lose than settle for 3 loss seasons and citrus bowl wins.
November 12th, 2017 at 7:02 PM ^
Of course I'm serious. If we made the playoffs this year against Bama we would lose by 40 likely, and if gladly take that and the Big Ten title along the way. And luck or execution Sparty and OSU are both pointing at the scoreboard when we say anything.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:54 PM ^
like Manti's girlfriend
November 11th, 2017 at 10:58 PM ^
And may very well do it again next year. It’s hilarious to see everyone bashing coaches and programs that beat thrash us.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:51 PM ^
Well, you are a concern troll so I suppose you would find it funny.
They didn’t drill us in 2012 though. The score was 13-6.
November 12th, 2017 at 1:01 AM ^
as we beat ourselves with a big assist from the zebras. Probably Denard's worst performance---I think he threw 4 interceptions and fumbled twice, losing one of them to the Irish. And though I don't remember the details, I seem to recall us getting screwed numerous times that day by the flag-happy refs.
November 12th, 2017 at 6:45 AM ^
Even the 4-point losses were similar, continued offensive futility due to turnovers, incredible defensive play to keep us in the game, we shouldn't have a chance to win in. Both sad results.
November 12th, 2017 at 8:36 AM ^
rationalize it however you want to make you sleep better, but a win is a win, and they beat us.
November 12th, 2017 at 12:09 PM ^
involved by stating that Denard had possibly his worst game ever, with 4 interceptions and a lost fumble?
And what I stated about the refereeing, I'll need a little help from someone with a better memory, but I seem to recall a major blunder or two happened that cost Michigan dearly, along with a few other questionable calls.
Thanks to our defense, we had every opportunity to win; we didn't get it done.
November 12th, 2017 at 8:01 AM ^
And I believe even that season might be removed from the records book.

November 12th, 2017 at 12:47 AM ^
Who doesn't?
November 11th, 2017 at 10:13 PM ^
Never thought I’d be rooting for a team from Mississippi. Sports is strange!
November 11th, 2017 at 10:14 PM ^
Whoops wrong thrrsd
November 11th, 2017 at 10:14 PM ^
We should all post a thread when a thought pops into our head
November 11th, 2017 at 10:15 PM ^
Game plan was bad. They were successful this year running the ball, and they came out throwing way too much.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:15 PM ^
But there are a lot of life long domers and it's not a tough sell to go there if you are from the Midwest. I don't think it matters who the coach is they will always get recruits
November 11th, 2017 at 10:15 PM ^
Becuz they stoopid
November 11th, 2017 at 10:16 PM ^
Who WOULDN'T want to play for ol' purple face and get yelled at so Kelly can ask "ARE YOU A DUMBASS!?!" on national TV.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:37 PM ^
Grad I have people negging. Must be ND lovers ..
November 11th, 2017 at 11:33 PM ^
or could be just a bad OP
November 11th, 2017 at 11:17 PM ^
People like the 50 shades of purple....
November 11th, 2017 at 10:16 PM ^
Most likely because Notre Dame pays them and has a history of sending a lot of players to the NFL
November 11th, 2017 at 10:19 PM ^
And it’s the only Catholic school thats good at football.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:32 PM ^
Boston College ain't horrible
November 11th, 2017 at 10:37 PM ^
They ain't good either
November 11th, 2017 at 11:42 PM ^
You really think the majority of those football players are following the 10 commandments and traditional Catholic values? Lol
November 11th, 2017 at 11:54 PM ^
They may or may not be Christian, but most of them aren’t Catholic.
November 12th, 2017 at 1:26 AM ^
Exactly. So them being a Catholic school has nothing to do with them getting recruits
November 12th, 2017 at 9:42 AM ^
and you might notice a significant number of catholic HS's. They begin recruiting at the HS level which then (often) feeds into ND recruiting. HS coaches have an influence on the recruitment of their players. It's as much about the HS feeder schools as it is about ND.
