Just saw Gameday will be in Madison next week. Time to win a big game!

May both of them never b ranked in the top 15 again

I can celebrate this.

This has been the best day all season. Sparty and ND not only got crushed, but got their illusions of elite status shattered. It's a great day for college football.
But I'm hoping for an even better day in two weeks.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:48 PM ^
Sparty may have been crushed, but local media are making them out as heroes.
From Pat Caputo, Oakland press:
"The Spartans have nothing to apologize about despite being utterly embarrassed by Ohio State"
He's not the only one either. The local angle is... "Michigan blows out the Terps, but has a lot of issues." Sparty on the other hand... "MSU is going to be special, in time."
So the fact that MSU was blown out doesn't seem to mean much.

reporting.
November 12th, 2017 at 10:47 AM ^
The writers likely could not get into Michigan and still hold a grudge.
November 12th, 2017 at 2:23 AM ^
When you move away from Michigan you lose a lot of the local shit posting that I'm sure stirs up anger. Try to distance yourself from that noise. It doesn't mean anything.
November 12th, 2017 at 5:27 AM ^
Oh boy do they have that backwards. You see what happens when Luwerke does'nt play out of his mind. Don't know what state loses, but Michigan is only going to miss big Mo. Next years recieving corps will be much better as will QB play. Michigan will be the tough out and probably ranked very high and favored in the big ten.
Love to see msu and notre dame lose, but I actually despise the teams who won more.

Blue wall!!
November 12th, 2017 at 7:45 AM ^
The bias in the local press towards MSU, especially at the FP (which is loaded with Spartan flunkies) is so annoying. That's why I love when MSU has a game like yesterday to bring them all back down to earth.
Seriously, if Michigan lost to anyone 48-3 the columnists would rip them, and Jim Harbaugh to threads. Spartans do it and they're still "heros to all." Screw those people.
Thus ends my mini rant.
November 12th, 2017 at 10:04 AM ^
And he spends one full paragraph on the spartans in his designated section for them, and two other paragraphs ripping Michigan. Then in his Michigan section, he takes his little jabs.
It’s funny to me. All MSU fans wanted was for us to notice them, to make them a priority. And now that we Michigan fans rip them for getting their ass beat, for noticing them, something they’ve done to us forever, they’re whining about it? You can’t have it both ways Pat and MSU faithful. But since no one views them as their primary rival, they probably don’t know how to handle the negativity.
And that drives me nuts about them too. If you go to OTE or other big teams blogs or websites, everyone always loves to see MSU succeed. Boy if you only knew their true colors.
End of my hate state rant. Even though it was OSU ripping your pants down, I still enjoyed the shit out of it.

It doesn't get much better than the last two weeks of college football. Buckeyes blown out, MSU blown out, and Norte Dame blown out... oh yeah and pedo state gets beat and ruins their shot at a big ten title game.
Bang bang!!!!!!
November 12th, 2017 at 12:54 AM ^
But I'm sick of relying on other teams to create the "bang bang" for us... I'll be happy when we're the ones blowing out those teams
November 12th, 2017 at 12:35 AM ^
"Hell with Notre Dame". By the time he finished repeating it 9 times, I was ready to launch my own ”Crusade" against them.

ND and Georgia (and OSU last week) all getting housed is enjoyable. And, as a matter of perspective, helps put our own team's challenges this year into perspective. Yeah, we got wrecked at PSU, but good teams are getting wrecked this year. Especially on the road against competent opponents. The floodgates open and things fall apart.
November 12th, 2017 at 12:56 AM ^
How are we supposed to feel if OSU comes into the Big House and puts up 50+???
November 12th, 2017 at 2:28 AM ^
Don Brown has the Iowa tape for how to shut down Ohio State.
November 12th, 2017 at 7:46 AM ^
So did state. I was not terribly impressed with the outing at Maryland yesterday. Adding the potential injury issues into play, and the fact that UM needs to focus on UW while OSU can ignore Illinois to prep for us, I am not expecting that game to go well (but I would love it if I was wrong on that).
November 12th, 2017 at 10:59 AM ^
always seem to be repaired the following week.
November 12th, 2017 at 4:58 AM ^
We still haven't beaten a good team.
November 12th, 2017 at 9:04 AM ^
either Wiscy or OSU. We don't have a good enough passing game to complement a decent running game.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:10 PM ^
God I was so hoping for Saban to fall.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:34 PM ^
Sec coaches seem to always shit the bed against bama late when they are in it. Not sure how MSU throws a 4 yard pass on 3rd and 8 from around the 45 right after bama just broke the MSU defense the drive before, AND does not go for it on 4th and 3 or 4.
Gotta go for it after that. It looked like the short out was the second read so I thought he was setting up a fourth down attempt.
November 12th, 2017 at 9:52 AM ^
Auburn WILL beat Bama. Auburn will play GA in champioship game and win. Now here is where it gets fun. Two Loss Auburn has to go to playoff's right? Committee going to leave Bama out? Likely not. This is going to get fun even if M isn't in the final four consideration.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:10 PM ^
Not to look too far ahead, but I did notice that the domers have 4 seniors on their O line. Starting 4 new O-lineman opening week next season vs Michigan certainly bodes well for us.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:16 PM ^
Well we lose Hurst and maybe Winovich, so it’s not like everyone from our end is coming back
November 11th, 2017 at 11:26 PM ^
...and Mone as well but you're inserting semi-vets in Solomon and Dwumfor into the mix not to mention a mix of Vilain, Malone-Hatcher on the ends and Irving-Bey getting into the rotation. I'd take that over 4 new starting OL any day.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:29 PM ^
It was either Irving-Bey, or Malone-Hatcher, that retired in the spring - not sure which one. One of those two did because of a chronic achilles injury. Or something like that.

I think he got too complacent at UGA. Now he’s home and wants to win there bad just like Harbaugh at Michigan.
