They are a very well balanced team, good in all three phases of the game. Richt has instilled a will to win and a killer instinct into the canes. I don't think Miami is best in NCAA but they are definitely top 4
November 11th, 2017 at 10:47 PM ^
As I've said all season long - ND is the most overrated team in the country. Miami should beat them
Edit : ND beat a vastly overrated Georgia team on their way to earning their ranking
November 11th, 2017 at 10:52 PM ^
Georgia beat ND, I think you're thinking about USC.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:52 PM ^

Alabama is great but they're incredibly fucking lucky too. So sick of them. Even if they would've lost the committee would've kept them in top 4. Here's to hoping auburn knocks them off then maybe Georgia. It's old watching them in the title game every year. It's not fun anymore.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:46 PM ^
then we will just see Auburn and UGA in the playoff
November 11th, 2017 at 10:52 PM ^
That Auburn plays them close in the iron bowl and then Bama goes on to crush Georgia in the sec title game. The most deserving four teams as of today are - Alabama, Wisconsin, Miami and Oklahoma. That's not the four "best" though, imo
November 11th, 2017 at 10:38 PM ^
Wimbush and Book both look lost. Nice that ND is getting an ass kicking in prime time. Hopefully BK keeps rotating these guys and kills their confidence.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:40 PM ^
can't believe OK still has Mayfield on the field- what is into coaches htese days? an injury kills them
November 11th, 2017 at 10:51 PM ^
It's a 24 point game in the Big 12. That's not safe until there's like... 3 minutes left. And you have the ball.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:41 PM ^
So is Miami officially back?
November 11th, 2017 at 10:48 PM ^
Brian Kelly is obviously sedated.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:53 PM ^
Will probably need another dose before he faces the media.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:49 PM ^
Are down 50-17 at Missouri.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:49 PM ^
I bet Miami cleans up this recruiting class with the disasters at FSU and UF.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:49 PM ^
Come on Miami! Keep the shut out!
November 11th, 2017 at 10:50 PM ^
Well that was shitty.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:51 PM ^
This is like 15 years of built up frustration being released by the Canes tonight.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:53 PM ^
Tennessee is getting smoked by Missouri. Butch Jones has to be out after the season, right?
November 11th, 2017 at 10:58 PM ^
Missouri is bad. The favt that Florida and Tennessee were blown out by Mizzou says far more about them than it does anything about Missouri
November 11th, 2017 at 11:10 PM ^
Or that PURDUE destroyed them AT Missouri!
November 11th, 2017 at 11:16 PM ^
Missouri got smoked by Purdue, so....yeah
November 11th, 2017 at 10:53 PM ^

Too much love for Wisconsin. I just don’t think the committee is that impressed with the B1G, and a 2 loss OSU > 1 loss Wisconsin.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:01 PM ^
Given the general carnage and wins over Michigan and likely OSU I think they would get boosted up. Not sure about over 1 loss Oklahoma though.
Though I think OSU (if we're honest, OSU is probably winning the East) probably hamblasts them.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:03 PM ^
Auburn is probably in, if they win out. If you want my honest opinion of what the committee will do.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:10 PM ^
That's their whole résumé though. Their two best wins would be over a 3+ loss Michigan team and a 2+ loss Big Ten East champion. Their nonconference schedule -- the games they control -- was Utah State, Florida Atlantic, and at BYU. Now, they might not have known that BYU would be a tire fire, but that's still not really a marquee game.
The more teams get rewarded for a gaudy record, without considering the quality of their opponents, the more we're going to see unwatchable September* football as teams attempt to grease the skids for a playoff run.
There are no Big Ten teams who deserve to be in the playoff this year.
* or November -- looking at you ESS EEE SEE.

The mid majors really get no love in the CFP. Not saying UCF should be in the top 4, but there appears to be a glass ceiling for them because no way can they get the SOS the committee apparently wants. They effevtively can’t participate in the CFP
November 12th, 2017 at 1:17 AM ^
It would take years of being good for a mid major to make the playoff. Boise State built a name. It wouldn’t take something like that.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:54 PM ^
Miami running through Notre Dame like shit through a tin horn.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:59 PM ^
Miami really should take this national stage and try to keep scoring
November 11th, 2017 at 11:02 PM ^
Yep, they've got a chance all right.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:02 PM ^
At Michigan Wisconsin next week. Just Announced.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:06 PM ^
Just in time for the Brandon Peters to Nico Collins show.
28-27 Michigan
November 11th, 2017 at 11:04 PM ^
We can't lose after game day twice, right?.... RIGHT!?!?
November 11th, 2017 at 11:17 PM ^
turnover chain
November 11th, 2017 at 11:17 PM ^
Michigan needs a turn over chain. Get on it Don Brown.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:26 PM ^
How about a turnover monocle. Gotta steer into the stereotypes.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:22 PM ^

UCLA Trails ASU 21-20. Looks like the Jim Mora unemployment watch might be the only late game worth seeing.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:33 PM ^
kinda fun to see victory formation and nd give up
November 11th, 2017 at 11:35 PM ^
The media will be knobslobbing Miami now.
November 11th, 2017 at 11:36 PM ^
A Miami coach just said “Praise God” huh? Whaa?
November 11th, 2017 at 11:51 PM ^
Wonder what a Michigan Miami game score would look like
November 12th, 2017 at 12:33 AM ^
UCLA ASU is a barn burner. UCLA is a different team with Rosen. Not a great team, or a very good one. But they are in every game. He is more accurate than Darnold.
