We have no idea how much he'll miss. But it's definitely not good.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:32 PM ^
Why the hell would you assume he's gonna miss any games just cause he has a concussion? Not even close to accurate with a concussion, could miss no time.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:33 PM ^
has been out with a concussion.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:56 PM ^
I think Eubanks’ is actually a wrist injury. Could be off here, but I think he sustained more than a concussion on that hit against Purdue.
November 11th, 2017 at 9:02 PM ^
Pinched nerve in neck and concussion.
November 11th, 2017 at 9:04 PM ^
Interesting
November 12th, 2017 at 10:42 AM ^
Concussions vary in severity. My nephew headed a ball in his last soccer game, with concussion protocol, the doctor told hiim he's going to miss two weeks at least with how bad it was. He goes and gets checked once a week until he's cleared. It's a pretty serious thing now. Hill could miss a game or two or not miss one at all.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:32 PM ^
Losing Higdon, Lavert and Long all 8n the same game would blow. Hopefully they can all play next week.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:41 PM ^
You forgot Gary. Harbaugh said Higdon, Gary, and Long are all wait and see as far as their injuries go.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:43 PM ^
Did he? Ugh.
November 11th, 2017 at 9:12 PM ^
Yeah, not a great collection of injuries to have right before a big game. Gary never went to the locker room so hopefully its just a stinger or something like that. Higdon was a sock off walk gingerly to the locker room kind of thing...which doesn't seem great.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:01 PM ^
I'm sure we'll find out more.... just before kickoff against Wisconsin.
November 11th, 2017 at 10:28 PM ^
Little bit of gamesmanship ya think??
November 11th, 2017 at 7:33 PM ^
Seems a stretch.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:34 PM ^
Having coached kids going through concussion protocol, Hill could be back as early as Wednesday. It all depends on how he heals.
It's not great news, but it's far from awful. The defense can survive without him against Wisconsin. Their QB isn't exactly good, and they're missing their top WR.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:34 PM ^
Welp... Looks like we just have to get to the QB quicker
November 11th, 2017 at 7:35 PM ^
not sure how you've come to conclusion that the prognosis is definitely 1 week and possibly 2 weeks out, after a concussion...
November 11th, 2017 at 7:36 PM ^
Well luckily Wisconsin doesn’t really throw the ball.....
But yeah, if he’s not back by OSU we’re in more trouble than we’re already in. But seriously, hope he’s alright.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:36 PM ^
As of 2016 NFL Data:
"48 percent of players diagnosed with a concussion through Week 14 cleared the protocol in five days or less, meaning they didn't miss a single game."

Thanks brah
November 11th, 2017 at 8:03 PM ^
That just means 52% did
November 11th, 2017 at 10:00 PM ^
Before OP edited Post he claimed that this means he’s missing the Wisconsin game. In reality, there’s a fair shot he still plays
November 11th, 2017 at 7:36 PM ^
yeah, no. you're just making shit up
November 12th, 2017 at 9:31 AM ^
100% of players who suffer concussions and come back to play risk dying at an early age from CTE. Nobody wants to hear this, but it's true.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:36 PM ^
Not sure how happy the Brooklyn Nets will be about Harbaugh leaking injury information about one of their players
November 11th, 2017 at 9:49 PM ^
Well he wasn't really leaking so much as just assuming he was going to get hurt again...it has been a while.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:37 PM ^
You have no idea how long he will be out. Every concussion varies in severity. Your pessimism is clearly winning the battle against your rational thought. I’d guess he plays against Wisconsin.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:37 PM ^
did the program indicate hell miss 1-2 games? otherwise thats kind of a foolish comment, particularly given the conditions nature
November 11th, 2017 at 7:41 PM ^
while the most optimistic version is that he's good to go mid-week, there's also Sid Crosby who missed what over a year with concussion? It depends on the nature and severity of the injury. Wait and see.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:54 PM ^
The concussion that took him out for so long was a vicious hit, and was far from the first concussion he had received.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:42 PM ^
Dear God the ozone is ablaze, the kracken has arose. I must have missed lavert get hit by a run away ambulance was occupied
November 11th, 2017 at 7:49 PM ^
all hands on deck for a game at Madison
quick recovery would be great !
November 11th, 2017 at 7:50 PM ^
None of them will miss any time. They all looked like minor injuries and all of them were on the sidelines instead of the locker room at the end of the game. What's wrong with you people?
November 11th, 2017 at 8:04 PM ^
Was Higdon? I agree that Gary and Hill and Long were probably minor injuries. Higdon might be okay next week but I thought he left the field.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:10 PM ^
Long's concerned me and my opinion should mean a lot cuz I'm not a doctor and watching on TV from CA.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:47 PM ^
And you slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
November 12th, 2017 at 10:46 AM ^
I was down at the sideline at the end of the game and I did not see him. The RBs were hanging out with each other when the D was on the field and he was not with them.
November 11th, 2017 at 9:34 PM ^
Everyone in this thread is a pussy
November 11th, 2017 at 7:53 PM ^
Here's the tweet if you're interested.
Lavert Hill has a concussion, per Jim Harbaugh. "We're not taking any chances," coach said after the game.

I thought this would be a game we could get healthy, instead we enter the Wisconsin game with possibly more questionabe guys.
November 11th, 2017 at 7:58 PM ^
it's football, players get hurt every single game. You just hope it's nothing serious and doesn't hit one of your must have players.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:19 PM ^
yep you said it - its a football game, not a bye week. "get healthy games" do not exist
November 11th, 2017 at 8:24 PM ^
he was intending is that by playing an overmatched opponent you can rest banged up players because you don't need them to win the game, and if the game gets out of reach starters can get pulled.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:55 PM ^
It’s football, you can’t do anything about injuries. Never heard of an injury safe play?
November 11th, 2017 at 8:13 PM ^
Concussions, sprained ankles are all part of the game when you're cracking skulls. Wait until next year when these young guns have been in the weight room another full year. Be a lot more young players playing. Wish The Game was earlier in the season sometimes so both teams could slug it out without the injuries that come down the stretch. Be it the case if Levert is out, then it's Ambry's turn to shine. St. Juste isn't ready and Watson didn't work the hip flexors enough. Unless someone finds one of those devices from star trek to rapidly fix head trauma, Levert isn't playing next week. Wisconsin sucks anyway, who cares. Stop their running game and woohlah!
November 11th, 2017 at 8:32 PM ^
I️ asked a brain doctor in charge of a concussion clinic who sees a lot of football players. She said that there is a very good chance a player with a concussion could play the next game and many do pass the protocol after a couple days. Without specific knowledge of Hill’s injury you have no idea if he will play or not.
November 11th, 2017 at 8:37 PM ^
Watched the play Gary was injured on over a couple times it looked like a teammate fell on Gary's oblongs knee first. Just the way he landed on him looked painful, we all know that feeling.
November 11th, 2017 at 9:16 PM ^
They were probing under his shoulder pad when he was on the ground. I don't think it's knee.
