Very interesting. It seems to me that he very often throws the ball directly to receivers. Maybe we ought to let this young chap try it again sometime soon.

The dump to Hill, I don't think, was ever a good option.  Just as Hill was getting open the DT was running Peters down and that means Peters would have had to throw back across himself to Hill.  That's the kind of throw you'll see made by a baseball middle infielder and at that they're throwing to a stationary target and usually nobody is trying to beat them into the ground.

tempers my initial enthusiasm about Peters. Watching this analysis, I see that Peters generally had time and most of his completions were relatively simple short throws.  Still, if he can replicate that level of production tonight, I will be a happy POTUS (Poster of typically uninformed stuff).  Go Blue!

Will Kareem and Ty and Big O(nwenu) play tonight?  That may have even more bearing on the game. 

How we handle pressure. There were no heavy rushes at all, mostly 3 and 4 man rushes with one 5 man rush and one or two late LB blitzes. None of those are terribly difficult to defend. Also, Wheatley should have caught that high one. He didn’t get much vertical and it hit him in both hands. Throw a little high, but very catchable. We will need him to come down with those in games like Wisconsin and Ohio State.

Fingers crossed, but there are good signs.

It is amazing what a difference competent QB play brings. Really surprised that Rutgers never tried to bring the heat. I suspect the Gophers will try to do so tonight and it will be interesting to see how Peters responds.

Really like the time you take to break down the plays.

1. It helps fans who may not know that much really see why a play worked or why it blew up.

2. It shows why playing QB is a lot harder than it may look.

After Speight and Okorn it is obvious A lot of Michigan fans are shell shocked. This kid allready has more pocket presence than okorn and making better decisions. This is just a small sample but you can really see his athletic ability.

Michigan will be very tough to defend as Peters continues to grow. Give him a little bit more each game and let's see what we got. If Peters is mentally tough I see him really stress defenses as now Michigan can finally dictate play instead of the defense.

I really don't think he has to do a ton. Just be smart with the ball, make a few play's downfield and take what the defense is giving you. The run offense should be able to do the rest as things will open up and it seems guys are blocking better.

I would not be surprised to see Peters take off and make some plays with his feet also as he seems to be quite fast. If Michigan continues to just have some competency at the QB position they will look like a different team as it will even make the defense better.

I for one think the team was waiting for this QB to start and get his chance. You could see play pick up on both sides of the ball after he entered the game. I think he gives Michigan the best chance to win and possibly help the shell shocked Michigan fans heal up, scar over and get back to where we should always be.

Michigan's football future is still all good guys and maybe better than the haters want and some believe, but we are still loaded and just in need of solid QB play. I believe we get that and more.

Peters seemed to make some really good, quick desicions early on; the downside of that was he hit the primary reciever so you counldn't tell how well he could get through reads. Great job showing him doing exactly that later on, plus he even made some good safe dump offs before pressure got to him.

Great great stuff! Not all the throws were perfect but his decision making as well as pocket presence was close to. Refreshing!

I noticed the few times he bailed the pocket, it was perfect timing and happened without him ever seeing his blind side. Is there a key word used to let the QB know? If so, why does he wait for that word but O’Korn bails seemingly at random?
