What Would Be Don Brown’s Turnover Trophy?

Submitted by Commie_High96 on
Miami has their Turnover Chain, Tennessee has a dumb trash can, Alabama has their belt. Besides for nothing, or maybe a Charlie Horse, which are likely the right answers, what would be an appropriate Turnover Celebration tool for Michigan?

This is Michigan. And we're talking about Don Brown leading men in battle, not figuring out how to manipulate kindergarteners into trying. Leave that to lesser human beings and lesser schools. Showing yourself a man and prevailing in battle is its own reward.

Didn't read. Anyone want to start a giant flamewar thread? Boring night on the board. I'll say Peters was a lucky pick six drop away from disaster last week and he'll show his true colors this weekend. Coupled with a horrendous 2018 class and coaching nepotism this program is doomed.

One bad throw isn't exactly reason to shove a bunch of tampons up your hoo hoo. The 2018 class may not be great by the numbers like the 2016 AND 2017 classes were, but that's okay if they fill out positions of need. 2019 could be good. Coaching nepotism argument has hardly no basis seeing as Jay has been fairly successful wtih both position groups.

Did you see his last throw of the game? Literally the worst throw I have seen all season.

I'm not going to argue hypothetically about the 2018 class, but right now it is hot garbage. Talking about 2019 is asinine. And if Jaybaugh was worth two shits Kareem Walker would be threatening 1000 yards this year.

So what is the acceptable number of bad throws per game for a RS frosh? 0? Cumong man. Be realistic. He did great in his limited experience.

I'm not going to entertain the Jaybaugh comments. I see no evidence to say he is doing poorly. I hope Walker turns out to be a beast, but one step at a time.

No don't make my arguments for myself. Of course I'm not expecting Peters to be perfect, but how does the story of that game change if that INT is caught and returned and we go into half at 14-14?

Yes, he got lucky. It happens. Not every interceptable ball is intercepted (unless it's Speight). Regardless, not a lot of data so far, so we'll just have to wait until we have more.

how is that hangover today?   lay low, lots of fluids, maybe get a little exercise.  you should be good by noon?   i might suggest a chili and cheese omlette, along with a full-strength, full sugar mountain dew.

He was debating some caved user on an app that I can't see, otherwise that's some Fight Club-level multiple personality disorder shit.

As a rule, we try to avoid flamewar threads as an intentional form of entertainment around here.

Now, if anything goes awry, come back around 11 PM tonight and you will have your choice of threads that, although perhaps not meant to be flamewars, are exactly that.

Still to this day from a very young age and until I'm in the dirt will this always be a fear of mine. Makes my entire skeleton feel weak just thinking of it happening. Wish it only upon crooked refs with personal agendas. I long for the day when a closet fan of the Wolverines runs from the crowd in the Big House dressed as fan of the cheaters in all scarlet. May my dream come true.
