Go Broncos!
November 1st, 2017 at 7:56 PM ^
Going with Broncos on this one.
Brother in-law is a Western grad and his fiancé is a Central grad.
He’s sleeping on the couch tonight.

My undergrad & graduate degrees were both minted in Mt Pleasant so boo to you!
November 1st, 2017 at 8:21 PM ^
You’ve mentioned it, I remember.
November 1st, 2017 at 7:44 PM ^
I really hope the Astros win
November 1st, 2017 at 7:45 PM ^
Me too...boss is in LA and he will be INSUFFERABLE if the Dodgers win
November 1st, 2017 at 8:29 PM ^
Laker fans are much more insufferable than Dodger fans. I can't remember seeing one Dodger car flag. When the Lakers are winning, those things are everywhere.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:00 PM ^
because of Justin Verlander
November 1st, 2017 at 7:47 PM ^
Lol just saw a promo for college football games this weekend, OF COURSE Ohio State plays at Iowa... during the day. Ugh.
November 1st, 2017 at 7:47 PM ^

Rooting for Shane Morris and Justin Verlander
November 1st, 2017 at 7:57 PM ^
For Shane, he's a great dude. also rooting for The Astros. #HoustonStrong
November 1st, 2017 at 7:59 PM ^
the Astros to win, to me it’s bittersweet the two best Tigers of this era will have won rings, but not with Detroit.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:07 PM ^
who ate you considering the second?
November 1st, 2017 at 8:17 PM ^
Miggy
November 1st, 2017 at 8:27 PM ^
just the way you wrote it made me think of an ex-Tiger winning
November 1st, 2017 at 8:29 PM ^
It is interesting to me though plenty of casual fans have no recollection of Miggy on that 03 Marlins team.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:42 PM ^
and Pudge!
November 1st, 2017 at 8:17 PM ^
Maybe Miggy with the Marlins
November 1st, 2017 at 9:19 PM ^
Cameron Maybin presumably. He's the only other former Tiger on the Astros.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:00 PM ^
i imagine cmu vs wmu is a pretty big game for at least half this board ;-)
November 1st, 2017 at 8:04 PM ^
Desmond on color commentary nice...he did last year too
November 1st, 2017 at 8:07 PM ^
Wtf the other announcer sounds like he's in the bathroom
November 1st, 2017 at 8:07 PM ^
Raining in Kalamazoo, so it will be raining here in about 2-3 hours.
What sucks is that I have not had time to mulch down the leaves again....
BUT....there's football on. I'll take it.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:09 PM ^
FYI WMU OC is former IU OC Kevin Johns, in case western's offense brings back bad memories
November 1st, 2017 at 8:11 PM ^
Sigh WMU looks damn good so far...TD too easy
November 1st, 2017 at 8:12 PM ^
Shane Morris!
November 1st, 2017 at 8:15 PM ^
lady umpire alert! (nttawwt)
November 1st, 2017 at 8:15 PM ^
Is Chris Cotter calling this game from an empty swimming pool?
November 1st, 2017 at 8:16 PM ^
Whoa...refs got some talent out there hello Amanda
November 1st, 2017 at 8:16 PM ^
This will be our chance to see what a mature, Senior Shane Morris can do. I'm gonna be flipping between the Western game and the World Series all night. It's going to be a great evening!
November 1st, 2017 at 8:40 PM ^
I can see why he didn't make the cut at UM.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:16 PM ^
Fire up Chips! However, I put $100 on WMU to cover...
November 1st, 2017 at 8:18 PM ^
These mid-week games are great for exposure for the MAC, but this game sucks for the students.
Central/Western weekend was always a blast(shitshow) to go to, even though I had no affiliation to either school. Seems wrong having it on a Wednesday.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:51 PM ^
Yes, your teams are playing on ESPN. Congratulations. But 1) who is watching? and 2) the stadiums are almost always empty. Is this really a good look for the MAC? Playing in empty stadiums on a weeknight? It sucks for players, students, and fans of those universities
November 1st, 2017 at 9:57 PM ^
ESPN, IMO, OWES it to the MAC schools to keep games like CMU v WMU and Miami University v Ohio University in October so they can be played on Saturdays.
The fan experience involved with those rivalries gets diluted by a factor of 99.999% when you play it on a Wednesday night in November vs. a Saturday in October.
But, I guess ESPN needs a few more tenths of a rating point.
November 1st, 2017 at 10:08 PM ^
I take it as the mid-major schools doing anything they can to get noticed by ESPN, FS1, etc. so they can get a bigger cut of the TV revenue pie. The article linked right above us seemed to imply as much
November 1st, 2017 at 8:17 PM ^
You know, it's games like this, on a wet November night, that really make me miss living in Michigan. Or maybe it's just all the beer I've had tonight.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:21 PM ^
It's the beer...you won't miss the -20F wind freezing your balls when you pump gas
November 1st, 2017 at 8:22 PM ^
except when it's -40 here in MN
November 1st, 2017 at 8:24 PM ^
Oh...shit your winters are worse hope that new job is worth it!
November 1st, 2017 at 8:39 PM ^
I'm actually enjoying all the travel and living in hotels. And it's done wonders for my marriage. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder.
November 1st, 2017 at 8:23 PM ^
extra bases!!
November 1st, 2017 at 8:24 PM ^
okay, I also have a question....did all these MAC schools have a bye last weekend?
