You're trying really hard to get banned aren't you... Had two posts deleted so now you just comment on the first comment?

When the first one was taken down I felt kind of bad for you, since you were kind of following-up from a post last year. But now you are just blatantly trying to get free advertising.

I don't care what you think, I started the threads last year and when I saw it for sale on their website the other day I emailed the owner asking what the "aggressive discount" he promised to MGoBloggers was gunna be. (http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/hover-helmet-creator-responds-our-efforts-n…)

He gave me a 30% code to post but the mods keep shutting me down.

Whatever, we have apparel threads with pictures, prices, links etc for Mden, Nike, Fanatics, etc, but posting a discount for a product we all actually cared about enough to email blast this company and the UofM licensing department for is banned. SMH

I guess it's because in our original email blast to the company, we said we would buy a bunch of them when they were available, then we all email blasted the licensing dept at UofM and made a real difference in helping them get the license.

Because of our help, he is offering the discount, and so I wanted all the MGoBloggers who were initially interested in this product, enough so to help out and email blast, to get the discount they worked for and not have to pay full price.

The above, plus I felt wronged by the mods for having my thread hidden

I guess I took it too far, so I am done now

9am kickoffs when I lived in Los Angeles were great! The bartender at the alumni bar in Santa Monica knew that when I walked through the door to start pouring my Murphy's Irish Stout! I have no shame to start drinking before noon...

Last time we played there it was scheduled for 3:30 but there was a hurricane approaching the area and they moved the game up to noon.  It was hilarious that the Michigan fans were in their seats at noon but Maryland fans didn't show up until almost halftime.  By then all the seats under the overhang were full of Michigan fans.

It was scheduled for 8PM and they moved it to Noon on the Wednesday or Thursday before the game.

I know because I ended up having to sprint from the airport literally to the game (think my flight landed in Baltimore at 10:45AM) instead of getting to enjoy the day checking out campus lol.

Wisconsin and Michigan would both have veto power over making that game a night game.  Wisconsin is already planning for a day game--they have a home hockey game that night.  Wisconsin would veto a night game, and even if they don't, Michigan would.

The first pick for November 11, MSU at OSU, is at noon on FOX.

The first pick for November 18 would almost certainly be M at Wisconsin (although Nebraska at Penn State is a possibility, M is a bigger TV draw than PSU and Wisconsin is a bigger TV draw than Nebraska).  ABC would have first pick that week unless I am mistaken.  I think the most likely outcome is Michigan at Wisconsin on ABC at 3:30.  The second most likely outcome is Michigan at Wisconsin on ABC at noon, but I don't see any good games that ABC could pick for their 3:30 timeslot.

Believe it or not, they never release that information.  All of this I'm getting from the Matt Sarz site, especially his blog here:  http://mattsarzsports.blogspot.com/

To be honest, I realize that I might be wrong about ABC getting first pick on 11/18.  We are pretty sure we know first pick each of these weeks:

9/2:  ABC

9/9:  ABC

9/16:  FOX

9/23:  FOX

9/30:  ABC

10/7:  ABC

10/14:  FOX

10/21:  ABC

10/28:  FOX

11/4:  ABC

11/11:  FOX

11/18:  ???

11/25:  FOX

That's 6 FOX, 6 ABC, and 1 unknown.  I guess I was assuming the unknown was ABC because surely they wouldn't concede the last 3 weeks of the season to FOX, right?  But I might be wrong.

If it's 6 and 6, FOX would receive the last one I'm pretty sure. I know that they have the modest edge in the new agreement over ABC/Disney (which is why ESPN has stopped promoting BTN on its websites). It was a big deal that they got first pick, and after that it alternated, so with an odd number of weeks FOX would receive 7 to ABC's 6.

Any chance that one of the previous weeks you thought ABC got first pick actually went to FOX?

That might be right.  I know FOX had #1 overall (that's why they have OSU v M).  ABC had #2 overall and, according to rumor, picked M v PSU for that one.  I don't know if the picks kept switching back & forth--that would lead you to assuming 7 FOX and 6 ABC #1 picks over the 13-week season.  Or there might have been some sort of compromise that leads to ABC having more #1 picks overall.  I guess we will find out soon enough.

There are a few weeks that seem to be guesswork on the part of Matt Sarz.  Look at this week, for example.  Who had the #1 pick this week?  FOX, who is showing PSU @ MSU on their main network at noon?  Or ABC, who is showing OSU @ IA on ESPN at 3:30?  Sarz assumes it is the OSU-IA game that was the first pick.  He might be wrong, but his logic is this--they didn't announce the networks for those 2 games until Sunday this week.  The fact that they waited until after the PSU-OSU game to announce them shows that the #1 pick was probably going to pick whichever team won the PSU-OSU game.  So ABC was #1 this week.

But that's all guesses.  Matt Sarz labels that "complete speculation," but I do see the logic in what he is writing.
