HELLO!!
October 29th, 2017 at 7:49 PM ^
candidate? His film looked good.
October 29th, 2017 at 7:58 PM ^
It’s supposed to look good. That’s the point of film.
October 29th, 2017 at 8:05 PM ^
But it wasn't just highlights, from what I recall. His blocking was good for a RB at a smallish school where he'd normally just get the ball in space all game.
October 30th, 2017 at 12:07 PM ^
He does not play at a smallish school. Eureka is Class 6 (largest class, 32 total teams) in Missouri. His team is currently 11-0 and is heavily favored to win the district game vs Lindbergh this weekend which would put Eureka in the state semis.
Link to MO state tourney bracket for those interested:

Eureka high school is in Saint Louis county. As a comparison, Jehu Chesson attended Ladue Horton Watkins High School in The Saint Louis metropolitan area... a Class 4 school.

Hi mom!
October 29th, 2017 at 8:12 PM ^
Some films are better then others...

October 30th, 2017 at 9:26 AM ^
Don't be the drunken mom posting on MGoBlog at 1:51 AM... ;-)
October 30th, 2017 at 9:18 PM ^
In fairness to me...That's 10:51 pm my time. I was asleep (read: passed out) by 11.
It was my gift to the board.
October 29th, 2017 at 11:57 PM ^
You get into me and your mom's home movies again lil fella?
*this comment would have been gold 3 & 1/2 hours ago.
October 30th, 2017 at 1:35 AM ^
It's still gold, Jerry. +1
October 29th, 2017 at 7:53 PM ^
Watching our backs go hog wild Saturday no surprise. Welcome aboard young blood... Go Blue!
October 29th, 2017 at 7:58 PM ^
Can't wait to read all the schadenfreude from Memphis, Wyoming, and Purdue /s. Welcome Double H!
October 29th, 2017 at 8:04 PM ^
Offer sheet leaves much to be desired. Good luck to him. He'll have fierce competition.
October 29th, 2017 at 8:05 PM ^
they're moving him to tackle
October 29th, 2017 at 7:56 PM ^
WHAT ONLY A 3 STAR WTF
October 29th, 2017 at 8:17 PM ^
He's a 2 on rivals and his best offer other than us is Purdue...
October 29th, 2017 at 9:03 PM ^
Underrated comment! +1
October 29th, 2017 at 8:52 PM ^
That Peters was a flop and a huge recruiting mistake by Harbaugh so excuse me if I trust the staff a bit more than them on this one.
That said, should not scare off either of the elite backs we are in on in 2019.
October 29th, 2017 at 11:54 PM ^
...is a mistake.
October 30th, 2017 at 9:16 AM ^
Used to be my go-to site prior to 2012 or so....247 is now head and shoulders above the rest
October 29th, 2017 at 9:02 PM ^
downvoted for stating facts. sounds about right for this place.
October 30th, 2017 at 10:38 AM ^
He is a 2* with a weak offer list because he runs a 4.7. He seems to have better vision than DeVeon Smith and seems to run just as hard. He'll be that guy like Ryan Kerrigan or Levian Bell where you wonder where the hell they found that guy.
October 30th, 2017 at 4:09 PM ^
Chip on his shoulder
October 29th, 2017 at 7:57 PM ^
Booyah.
October 29th, 2017 at 7:58 PM ^
Congrats to him on landing a spot at an elite university.
He runs with power and aggression in combination with good size.
Go Blue.
October 29th, 2017 at 8:01 PM ^
He is known to shed would-be tacklers by giving them the "Hassan Chop"
October 30th, 2017 at 3:23 PM ^
+1 for the Bugs/Daffy reference.
"What's with you anyway?"
"I can't help it. I'm a greedy slob. It's my hobby."
October 29th, 2017 at 8:03 PM ^
Lost a commit, got a commit.
October 29th, 2017 at 8:15 PM ^
Lost a ~100 recruit for a ~1500 ranked one.
Eh.
October 29th, 2017 at 8:20 PM ^
Trying to remember what Black’s initial rating was last year when he initially committed...
October 29th, 2017 at 8:28 PM ^
as a fun exercise, go look at who offered Jonathan Taylor before the committed to Wisco
October 29th, 2017 at 8:54 PM ^
pretty sure taylor had some nice offers like va tech, bc, etc, did fairly well at opening camps, and was a sprinting champ from nowhere nj so maybe not the greatest example.
but i agree with the general sentiment - underrated and under recruited dudes show up and ball out each fall on their way to the nfl. heres to haskins being one of those guys. the staff clearly saw something if theyre willing to accept his commitment at this point
October 30th, 2017 at 3:46 AM ^
Ranked lower than Haskins
October 30th, 2017 at 10:51 AM ^
There are a lot or really good RB's (low ranked out of H.S.) that are littered throughout both CFB and the NFL. I'm sure this kid has a role that Harbaugh needs filled.
October 29th, 2017 at 8:28 PM ^
Let us know when you think of it.
October 29th, 2017 at 8:41 PM ^
I'm trying to take a shit.
October 29th, 2017 at 10:23 PM ^
....in a cooler???
October 29th, 2017 at 8:59 PM ^
Never mind. Not who I was thinking of. Black was fine at time of commitment. Someone else in this last class though was was way off radar. Anyone else remember who? Point is, this staff deserves the benefit of the doubt with spotting talent.
