Confirmed: The Peters era has begun

Submitted by killerseafood3 on

Harbaugh confirmed Peters is the new starting QB going forward. Probably doesn't need a new thread, neg me if you want.

No one thought he was going to come in and win the Heisman dude.  Everyone here said that Peters was going to have some struggles, and everyone was fine with him learning on the job.

lurker means you've been following the blog but not commenting. and he thinks you should go back to lurking.

that being said, i think your original comments were spot on. you may have come across as complaining, but it's really more about whether or not this game projects to future games. there's no real reason to think one way or the other.

Caillou is objectively terrible, but that littl ebitch Daniel Tiger might be worse.  I vacillate between which one I despise more wuite often. On balance, at least the Daniel Tiger show has some good lessons mixed in, and doesn't have the obnoxious Grandmother-y omniscient narrator. Thus, as a show, Daniel Tiger is probably better, but as individual charatcers, they're both vomit-inducing.

Justify anything with some of these goons on here... if they disagree with your statement, you are wrong and a troll. No tolerance for someone else's opinion.

Quote; "I'm glad to see the performance from Peters but he very nearly through what might have been a pick six at the end of the first half and his last throw of the game was about five yards short of his intended target. This was also Rutgers. Let's not just assume QB is solved."

What exactly have I reinvented?  Those are complaints about two of his 14 passes.  I replied that no one expected him to be perfect, we expect some mistakes, but as a redshirt freshman most of us expected growth as he played more.  I don't think anyone here is now saying we're saved and going to win the NC.

Your first sentence contains both complaints...

"I'm glad to see the performance from Peters but he very nearly through what might have been a pick six at the end of the first half and his last throw of the game was about five yards short of his intended target."

Cmon man you're completely full of shit. He was clearly advising to not get too optimistic this early as he  still exhibited some signs of flaws (which he then outlined) and points out quite reasonably that this game was against Rutgers (which draws parallels to O'Korn's appearance against Purdue).  You're just being an asshole. You can point out a flaw without it being a complaint. Do you think when Harbaugh goes over mistakes in film he's complaining?

Acted like he was taking offense that responded to him/her. After explaining why I responded the way I did they came back at me. I don’t think anything I said came off as me being an asshole, or full of shit. And coming at me like you did probably won’t have the desired effect you want.
