Can you tell me why?

I'm finally coming in to see a game in AA for the first time post-Carr era, and for some reason this does not excite me. The last time I saw Michigan play Minnesota, Rickie Foggie was their QB, Michigan was ranked #2 and then... dreadfulness. This is inauspicious.

They put this game at night because Michigan is a ratings draw under almost any circumstances. But this really is a poor pick for Fox considering what else is available. To me this is proof that by involving more and more networks and doing more night games the B1G is watering down the coverage, forcing fans to wait around all day for games with little appeal ouside of their respective fan bases. Nice to see Michigan getting the attention but no one will be waiting with baited breath for this.

And for other parents with kids on campus. That weekend is parent's weekend, or whatever it's called. So we'll be there doing stuff during the day on Sat and Sun.

Wouldn't have been able to make a day game, but there's nothing on the schedule for the evening. And since we suck I can probably get the whole family in for $100 5 minutes after kickoff.

I have a biazarro 5 hour early morning layouver in an airport in Asia that morning that should basically line up perfectly for me watching this football game on a data network.

(I am not making this up, nor is this a brag, I would rather be in not an airport)

Will FOX put another sporting contest on at 5:30pm that pushes back the kickoff again? My guess would be it increases viewership when contests overlap, so probably yes.

It's because Michigan fans will watch regardless and a lot of the country will tune in hoping for a Minnesota upset. I hope Coach gets used to night games because they will keep being scheduled for the reason stated above.

I'm just so disappointed in the MSU and PSU game that I don't even know what to say. The team is underachieving again and it's getting bad. We're winning the games we should win usually and we're not even 50/50 on the tuff games.

I feel like we've been exposed. Watch every team line up 4 and 5 long and neutralize our LB play moving forward. The team is a fascinating story because we can't seem to win a close a game or beat our rivals, RR, Hoke and now Harbaugh. Wouldn't surprise me one but if Harbaugh left us sooner then later and went back to the NFL. To many cooks in the kitchen as they say.

Sorry everyone but I'm just so upset and disappointed on how we're playing. I know it takes time but other teams are turning the corner as fast or not faster then we are. Insert Penn St

Per the contract, I hear. So they are getting them out of the way this year. Wouldn't me surprised if the loss Saturday was the final decision point.

Oh shit, according to all the gloom and doomers that means an automatic L because Harbaugh can't coach at night.Teams have cracked the code just like they have figured out Don Brown's every move. Schedule a night game and it's guaranteed defeat for Harbaugh.

I'm honestly a little concerned about this game as in it may be the low point of the season. I just feel this team has one really embarrassing loss left in them (not including Wisconsin and OSU).

Just why?

Is it really that hard to only have one night game every two years?

So dumb, I hate the idea of two home night games in one year at all, let alone during this type of season in which both of our losses have come in this situation of gametime slot.

scheduled our annual family game bc no chance it'd be a night game...or so I figured...we usually do likely noon kicks. We drive in from multiple locations and have 5 kids attending, most over 10 at least. will be a tough tailgate and even tougher drive home
