D-Hart very close to committing to Michigan.

This looks like he might be announcing his commitment to Michigan at the BBQ at the Big House on May 22. Hopefully this is true. What a roller-coaster ride this has been.

to your nightmare.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:01 PM ^
i think this one slides bc it appears to be the first time it's been stated not behind a pay wall
April 27th, 2010 at 12:05 PM ^
I recomend the OP reads the (usefull stuff) at the top of the page. I sure as hell wish I would of.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:21 PM ^
What does "would of" mean? I keep reading that on this board and it is a little perplexing. I know it sounds similar to would've, but the meaning is totally different in fact, those two words together make no sense at all.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:25 PM ^
of have? I dunno I went to Flint.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:58 PM ^
Well played...that was a perfect retort.
That was funny.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:29 PM ^
it appears to be two different thoughts not separated by a semi-colon or period.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:33 PM ^
in shame.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:40 PM ^
No need to hang your head for that one, he was talking about my post.
What DOES your post header mean? It appears to be an improperly used contraction.
April 27th, 2010 at 11:56 AM ^
Everyone should!
OMG... was that a positive Michigan article in the Freep, or just my imagination?
April 27th, 2010 at 11:55 AM ^
and I am happy. Sounds like good news for now!
April 27th, 2010 at 11:55 AM ^
What does it say, the link won't work. I have that website blocked.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:04 PM ^
I was stunned that the freep would say anything nice without some backhanded bullshit... There is a 1st time for everything.
April 27th, 2010 at 11:56 AM ^
I still hate the Free Press though
April 27th, 2010 at 11:56 AM ^
Serious question:
how has Dee Hart's recruitment been a roller-coaster ride? He loved Michigan, he visited another campus and liked it, he came back to Michigan and loved it again. Doesn't this happen hundreds of times each year with recruits? Isn't this normal?
April 27th, 2010 at 11:59 AM ^
See, he loved Michigan (up), then it looked like he was going to go to Auburn or Alabama (down), and now it looks like he's coming to Michigan again (up).
That's...pretty much the definition of a roller coaster.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:01 PM ^
Yeah but there weren't any loop-d-loos, so it wasn't even that great. And it wasn't even the kind where you put your arms up and scream the whole way.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:02 PM ^
I'm sure I've seen you answer this before, but who is the lovely lady in your avatar?
April 27th, 2010 at 12:05 PM ^
Miranda Kerr.
AKA, my ex-girlfriend.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:12 PM ^
Rough breakup? What happened? You two seemed so happy.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:19 PM ^
A friend of Kerr?
Lucy Pinder.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:30 PM ^
Eh, she chewed with her mouth open. Big turn-off.
Popped.
the girl you jack off to
Not only is that inaccurate, but it's also just a tad bit uncouth. I'm sorry you're having a bad day. Go treat yourself to some ice cream. I just learned that Dairy Queen has SEVENTY-FIVE flavors of Blizzard Treats. That sounds pretty enticing...
April 27th, 2010 at 12:08 PM ^
No offense Magnus, but that is a VERY boring roller coaster I must say. It's more like those U-shaped rides, the kind they had at Great American near Chicago. Or one of those big boat things you get in and it swings from one side to the other. Only in this case it only did it once, which I would also consider boring.
That said, WOOHOO!!
April 27th, 2010 at 12:34 PM ^
It's the Junior Gemini.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:52 PM ^
+1 for Cedar Point reference.
more like the Mine Ride.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:17 PM ^
In my world, that's called an elevator.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:24 PM ^
Then Sir you must live in a world without time. Adding a fourth dimension clearly converts your elevator to a roller coaster as the ups and downs occur at different temporal points.
Graph it, I'm serious.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:29 PM ^
In my world, where I consider Michigan recruiting, nothing really happens until either (1) a recruit commits to Michigan, or (2) National Signing Day. So, these artificial ups and downs that are created by Tom Beaver and Chris Balas to justify monthly subscriptions and page hits don't register on my radar.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:33 PM ^
jg2112 doesn't care about recruiting, and he makes sure to remind us of that on just about every recruiting thread.
To show us how much he doesn't care, see?
Because he doesn't care, he comments about it all the time?
Do you get it?
I don't.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:49 PM ^
So Hart is to a Rollercoaster as jg2112 is to a (blank).
* Hot Air Balloon
* Rocket ship
* ???
Help me out Magnus - your posts have been keeping a smile on my face all lunch.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:53 PM ^
Answer: floating house containing Carl Fredricksen
A = stock market meltdown
I realize that now - I just wanted to make certain he understood why his elevator analogy was flawed. While an elevator may go up and down, at the end of the day it has not actually gone anywhere...like some posts :)
This is only true if you limit yourself to a paultry 3 dimensions. Try to think like Zoltan: the possibilities are endless once you fold space-time.
BOOM. SCIENCE'D.
Okay...but does a roller coaster go anywhere either? At the end of it ride, you get off at the same station you started from.
Unless something goes wrong horribly wrong.
Fair enough - really just having some some. I could be fooling myself but after a good roller coaster ride I feel like I've gone somewhere. Elevator - not so much.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:31 PM ^
Who stays on an elevator for a trip up, a trip down, and then a trip back up? You're either forgetful or a bellboy.
I have seen some OSU students get a little overwhelmed with the math on those buttons.
Well, it is definitely a better metaphorical roller coaster ride to have with a recruit than the Demon Drop.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:00 PM ^
involving Hart showing great interest, then releasing a top 5 without UM in it, then showing interest, then saying his mom was displeased with the NCAA investigation, then expecting to come up and not showing up, then planning a visit, then visiting, then his mom interview
April 27th, 2010 at 12:13 PM ^
....was Solid Gold.
TOM: How’s the trip going so far?
MRS HART: The amount of support from everyone, the coaches, academics, and fans is amazing. The environment, everything that Michigan has to offer has been really great. Michigan seems to be the total package in my mind. This is my first time at Michigan, so I was overwhelmed. I’m looking for the total package for my son, and that seems to be here.
TOM: Does this visit change anything with Demetrius, as far as his top schools?
MRS HART: I’ll say this, I would say that they received a whole lot of brownie points with this visit. And, we’ll be back soon. You have to go somewhere you feel loved and supported, and I know he would get that here.
TOM: Will he be deciding anytime soon?
MRS HART: It’s going to be soon. Within a month.
That last answer sure points to The BBQ at The Big House, doesn't it? That's surely not behind a paywall.
April 27th, 2010 at 12:27 PM ^
this whole "announcement at the bbq" thing emerged from a pay-wall item. VH teased it but the firm date appeared on Rivals, etc. now if they just said at the bbq by putting together 2 and 2 and don't KNOW it then shame on them. however, as much as i feel this is old news, it's the first free news article everyone can put their finger on as 'proof.'
