Which, OK that's their choice.
But then don't shove a narrative down our throats about this being some kind of great Penn State redemption and recovery on the big stage, as if they were the victims.
If you are going to cover it as just a big football game then cover it straight up as just a big football game.

Please don't try that cute pooch kickoff shit with James Foug. Trying to kick it high and get it to the 1 yardline so they have to return.
It works the majority of the time, but Saqoun Barkley doesn't need anymore touches. Put them on the 25. Or force him to come out of the endzone 6 yards deep.

Sometimes I wonder if Harbaugh is so obviously spacey in interviews in a deliberate effort to be evasive, or if this guy is actually that out there. That clip does not engender confidence...

My *Hot Take*
...I honestly just think it's his mood. I've said this about pressers as well.
Now pause, he IS "out there." But I don't think it's like how the media portrays him as some crazy man who craves attention and just wants publicity stunts over and over.
I think he just loves to be in "the moment." He's willing to do anything if asked at the right time...rap videos, high dives, etc.
But when he doesn't care or doesn't want to do it...he's extra spacey and even rude from time to time. When he's having fun, he's loveable Jim. Goofy and talking about 2%.

except there's no "maybe" about it. Any personality slightly outside a societal norm is labeled a "disorder."
Honestly, if I see a room full of little kids and one is off by him/herself playing alone, I think to myself "there's the one kid that might be something great in life." Or possibly a mass murderer, but you know, I like to be optimistic.

The MMB went (I believe) twice, in 1999 and a pep band in 2001 (full band went to the Cold War). There was a trip planned, and cancelled in 2006.

Given that both MSU and OSU are at home, PSU seems like it should be one for the band to go to.

Saw the "Mom, I'm fine" sign, but overall, very lackluster signs. I'm one that can appreciate a well-played dig even if it's at us, but so far their signs are pretty lame overall. No creativity at all.
