Because everyone likes fan ideas for the coaches: Hill should play both ways
Our passing game is broken. There are a lot of reasons, but among them is our WRs have been pretty crappy.
Hill looks like the type of athlete that could add an edge to our offense. Just a small role, 5-10 plays. Basically I'd like to see McDoom's targets go to Hill. Might have been the difference vs MSU.

If it were that easy the coaches would have done it.

And threads like this are the reason the coaches are going to stop reading MGoBlog.

...I'm confident I could call a better game than whoever called the idiotic RB draw run in the 4th quarter of the MSU game.

like the ones that worked against purdue and indiana yesterday?

McDoom's drop at end of game took a lot of air out of the balloon.

Are you trying to say that the 70+ hours a week each person on the coaching staff spends trying to figure out what will give the team the best chance of winning would put them in a better position than mgoposters to determine what is best? Come on man. Everyone knows that people on the internet, most of whom have never played a down of football outside of their backyard, know better than the coaches.

He just got started at CB.
Why don't we settle down and let him dominate at that position before we start getting greedy.
October 15th, 2017 at 2:45 PM ^
This is silly. Charles Woodson played offense as a sophomore. Jabrill Peppers wasn't a dominant player before he started getting offensive snaps as a redshirt freshman. If guys are good enough, they're good enough. I'm not saying Lavert Hill would change everything, but it's dumb to say "He should be dominant on defense before we think about playing him on offense."
It doesn't take a million reps to learn two formations and four plays.

Below 6', just going to make him less effective as a CB because he's getting more plays

Before two platoon football, the QB typically played safety on defense.
So Tyree Kinnel or Metellus at QB?

that's the ticket. we could have 50-100 guys on the field and nobody would know. bet we'd win most of our games.
