Any inside info on the 2017 Football Documentary?
I brought up the doc as a possible reason for Harbaugh's subdued demeanor this year on the "Where did Jim Harbaugh go??" post by JWG Wolverine.
But I haven't heard anything about the doc even during game broadcasts. Google has given me nothing other than the basics of the deal.
I'm in Boston so haven't been at the games, but has anyone noticed more sideline cameras? Heard any scuttlebutt from people inside or near the program?
Are players/coaches enjoying it? Or are they all annoyed at cameras everywhere all the time and that's why our offense sucks? I blame the documentary. Harbaugh might have finally over-Harbaughed himself.

LOL yes, that’s totally why our offense sucks.

when you don’t win, you open yourself up to questions and/or criticism about the explore being a distraction.

It’s an utterly silly idea that this is why the offense sucks, as OP suggested, when there are a thousand and one other explanations for that, and the defense is more than fine.

I forgot the /s at the end. But I am a little concerned that the cameras can be a distraction when our offense is already smoldering wreckage. It will be a very interesting watch in Jan 2018. I'll be curious how much insight we get into the coaches' MSU planning.

They've been in the WTKA studio a few times according to Sam Webb including the week leading up to MSU.
I'm gonna skip thay episode.

I enjoyed when HBO did that all access look at FSU last year. I hope we get many good Harbaughisms.

It has balls in it.

Too bad they didn't do this last year

The ending is gonna be dope.

For everyone to deal with.
I'm guessing too big of a distraction in some regards.
If I were an 18-20 yr old with cameras all around and trying to focus on everything including wondering how the thing is going to turn out in the end, it might get in my head too much.

Is this so we can relive the horror of this offense?

Yeah, heard that Msu just pre-ordered a 1000 copies.

I have heard the cameras were also seen at a local Sears store getting b-roll footage of khakis on sale for $14.10.

Sometimes coaches just aren't as passionate anymore

Saw a whole load of very expensive cameras being loaded out of a van next to the tunnel on Saturday, plus a camera crew doing a pretty decently long interview with Jake Long outside the stadium in the early afternoon. There was also a pretty decent camera presence around Jake Butt when he showed up about an hour before game time. All those folks had Athletic Department credentials. Seems to me this project is where they came from...

Did anyone try to get Jake Long in a uni with Ulizio's number? I mean, it clearly didn't happen, but did anyone even try? That would have been nice...

Says they are pretty embedded but at the same time, if a player or coach requests that something not be shot or the cameras be turned off, the contract language dictates the cameras must oblige. I don't know how much final say U of M has in the editing process but the fact they can tell them to stop rolling means it's not like some Big Brother type scenario going on inside Schembechler.

If you have an All-American subscription:

Not a ton of detail on what they're filming, but a lot on the contract itself. And it seems that Michigan has a lot of control.

Was really looking forward to this until we shit the bed against MSU. Might have to have a finger on the fast forward button.
