Seth

We’re doing it a day early so Ace can get to Indiana.

We are LIVE right now at the Bo Store, 333 S. Main. Come down and join us. Bring beer. Special Guests: Steve “Dr. Sap” Sapardanis, for a segment on Bob Ufer.

Top five Pbp calls, per Ace and Brian (big plus, actually including audio):

Ace:

5. Marv Albert's call of Trey Burke's three against Kansas.
4. Gus Johnson goes bananas at the end of UCLA vs. Gonzaga
3. Keith Jackson saying, "If he keeps eating his cornbread, he'll be man-sized one day" in the USC-Texas game.
2. Bill Raftery, "Send it it Jerome!" on a backboard-shattering dunk.
1. Bob Ufer, Wangler to Carter

Brian:

5. Non-English homer call of Iceland vs. England in Euro 2016
4. Don Criqui's call of Jeremy Gallon's Oh Wide Open catch and Roundtree's TD.
3. Ian Darke, "Go Go USA!" on Landon Donovan's goal against Algeria to put USA through to the World Cup Round of 16.
2. Bob Ufer, "Touchdown Billy Taylor!"
1. Keith Jackson's call of Charles Woodson's PR TD against OSU.

Pretty good, if subjective to the Michigan experience, lists. Ufer's Wangler-to-Carter call clearly head and shoulders above all others in this fanbase ("heard until the next 100 years of Michigan football is played" is well on its way to fulfillment, 37 years and counting. My health / driver's ed teacher played it IN CLASS at Pioneer when I was a student there).

Ok, I promised a hot take. Here's mine:

Need Martin Tyler's Manchester City winner, Joe Starkey's Cal vs. Stanford call, and Al Michaels calling the Miracle on any english-language list IMO.

Excess frippery from myself edited out for uselessness.

Dennis in Oakland County is still calling in! My favorite Dennis moment was when Dennis Fithian was interviewing some media guy who was covering UNH before a hockey game in 2004 and made some negative remark about our winged helmets. Dennis called in and, without pausing, dropped a 45-second Ufer rant on the stunned media guy and hung up without taking a response. Fithian was speechless. One of my all-time favorite sports radio moments.

Why does Harbaugh get a pass for the punt block loss to MSU?  He had gunners split out when MSU had no one back to receive, coming out of a timeout.  They called it "fate", but Harbaugh had a significant role in that.

100% agree. MSU had no one back to return the punt. Their only option was to go all out for the block. Michigan had no time outs left but there has to be a way to have the team take a delay of game penalty and regroup. This is squarely on Harbaugh. But you know MSU is just really lucky and Harbaugh’s futility against them should not matter.

I had you on the 65-inch tv and to hear the audio clips I had to set the volume on my sound system at a certain level. Every now and then the decibel meter would spike and my ears hurt. Equalize that equipment gentlemen please. Great show as always, I laugh and learn.

There is nothing one could do without the support of the people. Whether it is IT, software, http://essaysmama.com/ writing solutions, etc. people should always support an idea. I am glad that there is a lot of support in this page and the website overall.
