Mike McCray is my favorite for now.

Either sadness or despair. They've both been huge for me this year.

He was flying up my list, but that penalty last night was a Shawn Crable level red mark. Probably a 4 point and maybe a 7 point penalty. Obviously that was one of about 30 massive mistakes we made last night, but going forward, he has to learn to harness his aggression. That's 2 potential game-shifting penalties in 5 games.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:40 AM ^
In all fairness he got punched in the head. At worst it should've been offsetting.
October 9th, 2017 at 11:49 AM ^
The PF or the offsides that turned a loss of 2 into a gain of 5 and another down?

Noah Furbush, dude is majoring in aerospace engineering. As an EECS grad myself i love seeing engineers succeed in athletics.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:05 AM ^
Hurst, no doubt. He's the only guy I never have anything to complain about during the game, and he gives 100% on EVERY play -- even punts. Hill is a close second, for similar reasons.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:51 AM ^
I literally saw Hurst teleport around an OL towards the end of the game. I was like he had to been offsides! But, no flag.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:57 AM ^
I think there was a 4th & 1 that was possibly fumbled as well -- where Hurst collapsed 2 OL, hit the QB as fast as the snap hit the QB, and probably would've tackled the fullback or runningback if they handoff would've been made. He completely caved in an entire offense by himself. He is incredible. Aaron Donald might not even be as fast as Hurst is off the line.

followed by Dennis Frankilin and Brian Griese.

I’m really starting to like Lavert Hill. Dude is going to be a monster sooner than we though.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:24 AM ^
he has exceeded expectations
October 8th, 2017 at 11:12 AM ^
If we just had and average O-line and QB we would win the B1G.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:12 AM ^
We are the winningest program in America!! That counts for something! We won the most games!! Yippee!

Great QB when I was at Michigan. What is he doing now?

When JOK is playing it's Peters.
If Peters were playing it would be McCaffery.
If McCaffery then Malzone I suppose.

Anyone that doesn't fumble. Serious answer: Quinn Nordin

Lavert Hill.

He is a huge weapon and seems poised for the spotlight.
And, point taken above--he hasn't fumbled.....
October 8th, 2017 at 11:27 AM ^
now that I think about it. I don't think I ever had a favorite Michigan player. I think it's always been about the group effort for me.
In the pros you get guys on the same team for over a decade and those guys grow on you as stalwarts. Like Zetterberg has been my favorite Wing for over 10 years. I loved Miggy on the Tigers. But in college, I think it's more about the guys as a team.
So as these things go..they're all my favorites when they win..don't ask me when we lose.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:36 AM ^
Hard to say on the current team. Lots of great players but no one stands out to me at this time. Maybe Chase W or Devin Bush.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:38 AM ^
Today I’ll go with, Shawn Crable.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:42 AM ^
Maurice. Dude is a straight BEAST. He blows up the OL consistently and is relentless.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:43 AM ^
My favorite players are the ones that had the ability to beat MSU and OSU.
October 8th, 2017 at 11:45 AM ^
So nobody?

Rashan Gary.
Winovich is most definitely a beast, though. Notice how he had his hair tucked in a bun after the first quarter? I'm guessing the spartans were trying to rip his hair out early, and he had to tuck it to get it out of their grasp.

My favorite Michigan Playa:
