garbage. what else is there to say?
October 7th, 2017 at 11:29 PM ^
Speight and JOK both effing SUCK. don’t say OL. There are 50 decent qb’s in college football with same or worse OL and they can still put together a few decent drives a game. I hope I set the new neg record. Our qb guru coach needs to do ALOT better with these guys. The talent gap we have on MSU is ridiculous and there is no excuse for losing to these MSU idiots

a lot, two words. A car, a plane, a boat, a lot, all two words.

it's on the playcalling just as much as it was on him. We didn't call to his strengths. We didn't do anything creative. Even when our line started establishing itself in the running game, we continued to call it pass-heavy in a storm but no rubs, few slants, and not enough TE stuff.
The sky isn't falling. I think we will be right there with anyone we play this year, thanks to the defense. But it's like the offense has neither a well-devised game plan, nor the ability to adapt to game circumstances. And that means that we will be keeping everyone we play this year in the game right along with us. That's just brutal.

Offensive Coordinator. His passing offense with Baylor was great. His rushing offense the last couple years has also been great.
Even today, when his defense couldn't get off the field, Tulsa put up over 400 yards in 16 minutes.
It's always well-designed, and there are always plenty of wrinkles for a defense to think about.
Plus, he would bring a number of well-established recruiting pipeline contacts in from Texas and Oklahoma--very strong football region that we are not yet recruiting as heavily as we ought.
But our playcalling this entire season has been crying for a new OC.
October 8th, 2017 at 12:48 AM ^
bring him in but he's not looking to jump down to OC at a P5 program. If any, it'll be a HC job that is a step up from Tulsa.
October 8th, 2017 at 10:25 AM ^
And as an in-between step, it can be a faster route to a top P-5 HC position, rather than a rebuild at a low to mid P5 where he wouldn't sniff a championship.
Plus, with NFL connections, UMich could be his route to the League (if that's something he'd want).
I think we could sell it to him. We'd just have to have the balls to go out and try.
October 8th, 2017 at 10:45 AM ^
I have connections and he won't do it unless it's a HC P5 job.
October 7th, 2017 at 11:59 PM ^
Have to agree.
Lots of teams would be thrilled to have O'Korn, and they'd get a lot more out of him. I'm not saying O'Korn is great, but the coaches need to be putting their kids in a better position to succeed.
Another thing is that the receivers are a huge downgrade from last year. Either they're not getting open or they're not making the play when they have the opportunity.
October 8th, 2017 at 12:06 AM ^
the sky is fucking falling. I'm tired of everyone saying it's okay. it's not okay, it hasn't been ok, and doesn't look like its going to ever get ok. this offense fucking sucks. If they cannot develop a road grading o line, Michigan will continue to never be more than an also ran. pathetic. All I can say after this game is look out. 4 more losses coming and a serious hit to recruiting. think Otis Reese is gonna see this through? think any decent o line wants to come to this circle jerk?
October 8th, 2017 at 2:44 AM ^
dialed up and a WR was open, he would drop the ball.
Or the play would get called back on a holding penalty. Or someone would fumble.
And that's when the right play was called.
Complete cluster.

wutch yoo gon' do?
October 8th, 2017 at 1:15 AM ^
has been wasting elite defenses.
October 7th, 2017 at 11:20 PM ^
We now know why O’Korn couldn’t beat out Speight.
October 7th, 2017 at 11:29 PM ^
It's not on O'Korn. He has nothing to work with. We can't run the ball, receivers are not open, and no one makes a play. We have no offensive strength. Blame Harbaugh and (especially?) Drevno, not O'Korn.
October 7th, 2017 at 11:38 PM ^
Drevno is garbage! I want fisch and ty wheat back.
October 7th, 2017 at 11:56 PM ^
before breakfast. GTFO, dude.
October 7th, 2017 at 11:57 PM ^
You don't make the kinds of decisions he made tonight and say it's not on him. Sadly it seems he doesn't have the mental makeup to play the position effectively.
I'll grant you that the playcalling was atrocious, and that was before the weather rolled in, but John played terribly and showed why he was the backup even when Speight was falling apart.
UM just doesn't have a QB and, while I'd like to see Peters out there, playing him when it sounds like he may not be mentally ready might set his development back years...
October 8th, 2017 at 12:11 AM ^
set his development back years? Lol, there's talk of him transferring out. If he can't beat out jok or Speight, he may as well leave. fuck it, put dcaff in. what's to lose? his development too? lulz.....
October 8th, 2017 at 12:19 AM ^
O'Korn is underwhelming. But so are the play calls, linemen, receivers, RBs, and TEs.
October 8th, 2017 at 12:21 AM ^
Bullshit. His decisions were horrific. Passing into coverage. Passing to the other team. Holding on to the ball too long. Could go on and on. He is bad. So many called for him and they got him. He is not good. Period.
October 7th, 2017 at 11:45 PM ^
Now? We already knew. Last week was an anomaly.
October 8th, 2017 at 12:24 AM ^
Okorn isn't very good, as evidenced by the turnovers and fleeting from the pocket, but if Speight was in he would've had at least 2 turnovers himself and been sacked 10 times. Okorn scrambling was once again our only hope to move the ball.

October 8th, 2017 at 1:03 AM ^
Thank you ma'am, may I have another?
October 7th, 2017 at 11:51 PM ^
This year is going to be like Waiting for Godot. No improvement whatsoever. Can’t get separation, and when McDoon finds himself somehow all alone on one play that would have given us an actual chance to throw it into the end zone three times at the end, he drops a ball that is right In his hands. With no one near him!
October 8th, 2017 at 2:37 AM ^
Is that what that play was about?
October 7th, 2017 at 11:21 PM ^
Fire all the offensive coaches

October 7th, 2017 at 11:22 PM ^
my goodness, that offense is awful...
October 7th, 2017 at 11:22 PM ^
I wonder if we win with Speight? Probably
Either way, it's apparent the wide outs are nothing special, the OL sucks, and the running backs also cant block and cant hold onto the ball. The problems on O go so much deeper than just QB
