Yep, I hate to say it, but I'm on the fire Drevno train.  He was brought in to be an o-line guru, and the o-line has been worse each year under him.  We look like we're out of ideas, we do things that make no sense...  Maybe he'll turn it around & change my mind like Jim Caldwell did a couple years ago.  I'd love it if that happened.  But I doubt it will.  Time to move forward.

The solution seems simple to me. Fire Drevno and make Pep the only OC. With an offensive minded coach you don't need 2 oc's. Make Frey the full time offensive line coach and since I don't expect him to fire his son, move Jaybaugh back to tight ends and bring in a RB coach. This coaching staff is too much of a mishmash.

I can think of reasons that would excuse Michigan for not being a top-tier team this year, but I really can't get to a point where losing to a team coming off a 3-9 season *and* replacing a bunch of starters *and* losing a few prospective starters makes sense. Yes, even with turnovers!

This is easily the worst loss of the Harbaugh era. The honeymoon is definitely over. He's 1-2 against a team with inferior talent.

I'm thankful that I live outside of Michigan and not among a bunch of Sparty goons. My condolences to the affected Michiganders.

I'm also thankful that it wasn't worse! O'Korn put those slobs on the doorstep three times in a row.

Inferior talent...So, it's coaching, then?  Who's the headcoach?  MSU sucked last year and was supposed to suck this year.  We were all laughing at how bad we were going to kick their azz.  WTF happened???  Maybe, their coach is better than ours...

It is said that when a team has two starting QBs, it has none.  I think we can extend that logic, if you have two, or three, offensive coordinators, you have none.

The defense speaks with one voice, that of Don Brown.  The offense speaks with three voices and unfortunately, not in harmony.  Dissonance is the name of the offensive game.

I get the frustration, but man...

The only way we were going to win that game given the circumstances (weather) was to flip the field again and that’s not going to happen turning it over at mid-field constantly.

I understand criticizing the passes but they were stacking the box. Turnovers lost this one!

This is the most rational response I have read on here yet. Once the weather started and we were down, we were in big trouble. You weren't going to run on this defense and you sure as heck couldn't pass. My only beef is that we didn't have our home run play like Dantonio and co did, that cute little screen off the sweep fake. Every year Dantonio and staff have a play that gets us, we never have that play.

really should have...offense needs to use their fucking imagination and hang on to the fucking ball. Isaac's fumble was inexcusable and changed the whole game

There's nothing worse than having a trio of backs where 2 of them way LESS THAN 200lbs (heck, Speight's got half a bill on them), and then a 6'3" 230lb back (that's Derrick Henry & Bo Scarborough dimensions fyi) who can't truck or even hold on to the football well enough to stay on the field.

I had no idea we'd lose the turnover battle 5-0. Tell me that before the game and I would have predicted sparty wins by 14+

Drevno should've never been made the offensive coordinator. Has been in over his head in way too many games the last 3 years. I think Jim should just take it over all alone. Jim is the boss and he is the NFL qb on the sidelines now after all these years. He knows what to do. I wish he would just do it.

Trying to determine if this is more frustrating than the 27 for 27 game at PSU. I think tonight showed us with Drevno what we saw with Hoke as HC... a guy who had success as a position coach is just in over his head. Just give the reins to Pep and let him call the plays.

Harbaugh has to be on the hot seat. Coming off a bye, OL and play calling terrible, QB development nonexistent. Fuck you if you disagree. This is year 3. Shit won’t be better next year with the OL and 2 new starters and a new QB.

But if he's too stubborn to realize that his offensive coaches just aren't very good, then all the recruiting in the world won't matter.  This is Michigan.  Our standards have to be higher.  It's very simple.  We were outcoached by a team with lesser athletes.  Yes, we don't have a good QB, but a good offensive coordinator and gameplan can work around that.  This is ridiculous.

Listen bro, I know you are mad and believe me I am too. I am upset with Harbaugh and his undying loyalty to people on the offensive side of the ball. But there is no one to get now that is better than Harbaugh. What we need right now is a offensive staff overhaul. Empty our pockets and get a top notch OC.
