Anyone watching? I absolutely love October baseball. And this matchup is exactly why. Lets go JV!

I couldn't disagree more.  The title, aside from a misplaced apostrophe, is to the point and the post body is as informative as it needs to be.

Brevity is the key to efficient communication.

There are two types of people:  Those who can extrapolate info from incomplete data.

Years ago I was watching someone try to solve a Wheel of Fortune final round where the clue was "_________ is the soul of wit."

As time expired, the contestant guessed "James Brown".*  That contestant was the first type of person you reference.

*We promptly joked that her answer would have been correct if the target phrase was "James Brown is the Godfather of the Soul of Wit".  Polonious she wasn't.

with that. Sale is a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. He used to play for the White Sox, like Verlander used to be a Tiger and is now an Astro. The pitching matchup and the network carrying this game is what he was referencing in his post headline. Thought it was abundantly clear and straightforward.

This just reminds me of how much I already miss Justin Verlander as a Tiger. Maybe I will tune in and imagine it is the Tigers. Of course, I just got home and it is virtually impossible to drink that much that fast to make the delusion real, but I suppose I could try.

3 homers from Altuve today. That's just amazing. I've been an Astros fan for a long time and I don't know if anyone will pass Biggio and Bagwell as my all time favorites, but this guy is absolutely my favorite player since then. Really happy for him.
