OT: Pens vs Sens

Submitted by House Divided on

I'm sure everyone here has their focus on the draft right now (who wouldn't) but the Penguins and Senators are dead locked at 3-3 in the 3rd in game 5. Chance for the Pens to end it tonight. I'm flipping back and forth by the way.

the Wings in OT. WAY too stressful. It takes only one shot or weird bounce to end it. That's why I love watching other playoff games go into OT: I can watch and get a little bit stressed because it's so intense, but ultimately, I won't be too bothered no matter who wins (unless Crosby scores the winner, in which case...ugh).

It's the shape of the arena and how the microphones are placed in the arena, not the crowd. I've watched games on TV that I've been to and it's amazing how different it sounds on TV. The problem is the open space of the "dome" and the layout of the seats. Not making excuses; just telling the truth. Versus also tends to turn down the crowd volume for some reason. Watching the same game on Versus and FSN-Pittsburgh would give you a completely different perspective of the crowd volume, as well.

Both teams played so hard tonight and it really was an even match. I'm looking forward to seeing how this one pans out after it's all said and done. My hats off to Pascal Leclaire. He was amazing in net during the 3 overtimes. Bet the CBJ miss him now. Great game!
