As long as the team is winning, I don't care what color pants they wear. Just keep the helmet the same.

I expect the maize pants will make an appearance at some point as a special alternate uniform. The next coach after Harbaugh is also likely to switch it back since the all-white is something partial to Harbaugh.

the all white was his idea, he tried it a few years and decided he didn`t really like it. harbaugh did the all white as a tribute to those years. it will get changed back.

Recorded in '76 stated that Michigan football players had worn maize pants for most of 96 years. A commentator offered sports experts' professional opinions that white is the easiest color to discriminate and see by a QB. I trust Jim's judgment but there is definitely a tug at the heart we have departed from the old man's preference. Still, Bo if convinced would choose to give his players the best color scheme to win and so will Jim.

I definitely miss hearing that gravely voice regardless. More so after Woody was relieved for punching opponents less than a third his age and their personal battles ended forever. Those were good days my fellow Wolverines. Good days indeed.

I like that. He tried it, and he decided to change back. I can't stand the people on this board that like to cherry-pick Bo quotes and use it as their justification for "this is the gospel of how Michigan does things".

Sure the guy had preferences, but he was always willing to adapt. Look at how many times he changed the style of offense he ran. I'm sure he preferred that the forward pass be banned, but he knew he had to change.

I'm on your lawn, and can't wait for the night game this weekend.

I love these Bo interviews. I was never alive to hear home talk in person while he was still coaching, so any Bo material is good for me

I've come to love the white pants more than I expected, but like Bo, I think it's time to switch back. I've been watching lots of old games this year, and I gotta say, those maize pants with road unis look good.

Very dangerous when people project what others would do based on history. Who knows what Bo would think on modern day. It's like trying to say how Lincoln would run the country today. No one knows.

The danger here cannot be overstated - "very dangerous" doesn't even quite capture the danger here.  We're talking DEFCON 2 or maybe even DEFCON 1.

I mean, if people listened to Bo and decided to agree with his words of many years ago, the team might wear maize pants on the road.  MAIZE PANTS ON THE ROAD!

The color of the road uniform pants could change based on Bo's words.  Oh, the huge manatee!

Wasn’t crazy about them back then, and was skeptical this time. But with the maize and blue trim package they have on them, I have come to like them a lot. Nice, clean look. But so long as they win . . .

I'll bet maize pants show up at PSU. Don't get me wrong, the all whites are slick. The Packers looked good in all white the other day. But, I'm not sure if it's the best look for Michigan. I miss the maize pants.
