White out? Like whiting out the memory of that institution and program being complicit in the rape of over 20 kids?

Like that kind of white out?

Fuck that school.

The fact that football allowed that school to be built into what it was genuinely makes me want to cry. They had no business continuing to field a football team after the revelations came out, and deserved the death penalty, as well as a swift removal from the Big Ten, replaced by Pitt for good measure.

I don't hold it against the current players or coaches, nor even the vast majority of past players or coaches, as that's not at all fair, but I do, to be certain, hold it against the institution, and will for all of eternity. It's a black eye upon every institution in the Big Ten that they continue to be associated with them, both academically and athletically.

I just want to point out that neither Michigan, Penn State, The Big Ten Conference, nor ABC/ESPN has actually announced this.  Only that Penn State fan tweet linked in the OP.

For a game day appearance also. I don't know what other games are that day, but a Heisman hopeful and a top 10 matchup, equals Kirk, Desmond, and Corso.

As the rankings stand right now it's the best game by a mile. If both teams win up to that game it will be the second-biggest matchup so far this season after the Bama-FSU opener, a Gameday no-brainer. Probably gets Gameday even if one team loses beforehand.

being from pennsylvania and now living in big sky country, everyone i come across out here says how bad it was that the stuff happened at penn state. most people are glad that i am not a fan of that school in any sense of the word. I cant wait for that game so we can see what both teams really have going for them.

I booked a haircut and massage for Saturday morning Oct. 21 yesterday.  Glad they did not disappoint.  Thanks for letting us know.   Regardless of who takes the most home run swings that night, win the game.

Growing up near Philly I was a PSU fan first and know a lot of folks who still are. The situation with Paterno is unique in that he was for all intents and purposes the founding father of Penn State. Students drew on his reputation and words to do a lot of good (dance marathon, etc) and those ethos are still alive. I remember hosting the Lion Ambassadors my senior year in A2 and thinking how friggin earnest they were. The Sandusky thing was really really hard for them to process and essentially broke them into one camp that was mostly alums and mgoblog types (informed, etc) who still believe in the ethos of PSU but who shun Paternos memory and others (rcmb or, ahem mlive types) who are essentially tribalists and refuse to believe anything bad about St Joe
