I hate penn state so much. So much
October 1st, 2017 at 4:46 PM ^
I think this is where we are supposed to say Fuck Penn st, so fuck penn st
October 1st, 2017 at 5:16 PM ^
And you did a fine job.
But it's just not the same coming from anyone other than East German Judge.
No offense to you, of course.
October 1st, 2017 at 8:12 PM ^
O.K......
BTW, FUCK penn state and all their delusional joepa loving fans!!!
October 2nd, 2017 at 9:00 AM ^
Now it's a Penn State hate thread.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
it will be very exciting
October 1st, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
I thought ABC Big Ten night games were all at 7:30 this season.
October 1st, 2017 at 5:09 PM ^
The game time has not been confirmed; this tweet is from a fan account with no connection to the school or networks.
ABC/ESPN, Penn State and Michigan have all NOT confirmed gametime or network.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
Will be a very tough game.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
White out? Like whiting out the memory of that institution and program being complicit in the rape of over 20 kids?
Like that kind of white out?
Fuck that school.
October 1st, 2017 at 6:16 PM ^
The fact that football allowed that school to be built into what it was genuinely makes me want to cry. They had no business continuing to field a football team after the revelations came out, and deserved the death penalty, as well as a swift removal from the Big Ten, replaced by Pitt for good measure.
I don't hold it against the current players or coaches, nor even the vast majority of past players or coaches, as that's not at all fair, but I do, to be certain, hold it against the institution, and will for all of eternity. It's a black eye upon every institution in the Big Ten that they continue to be associated with them, both academically and athletically.
October 1st, 2017 at 7:51 PM ^
Not every Penn State fan is a JoePa fan.
But every JoePa fan has decided that enabling child molestation isn't a deal breaker for them.
October 1st, 2017 at 10:46 PM ^
In the same vein, I found the "409" very prophetic also since that is also a cleaner that helps wipe away dirt....
And in the "you have to see this to believe this", these dumb fucks especially the back of their t-shirts....
no doubt they are flat-earthers!
October 2nd, 2017 at 1:01 AM ^
I would not put the joke "flat earth" in the same sentence as these fucks.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
Rare Talent vs. Rabid Squirrel! Not sure I have ever been more interested in a football match-up. It's way up there regardless.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:57 PM ^
Was excited for peppers vs delvin cook, but that never happened. Let's hope this one does.
October 1st, 2017 at 8:24 PM ^
v UM
2016: 15/59
2015: 15/68
v IU:
2017: 20/56
He *can* be stopped, and Devin "The Human Hellfire" Bush is just the one to do it!
October 2nd, 2017 at 7:44 AM ^
v IU:
2017: 20/56
+ 1/1 for 16 yards passing
+ 4/51 yards receiving
+1/98 yards kick return
IU stopped him... to the tune of 221 yards of total offense.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:47 PM ^
The Saquon Barkley vs Devin "The Predator" Bush Jr matchup is going to be fascinating. I really want to wreck Penn State.
October 2nd, 2017 at 2:10 AM ^
our front seven is too good. I'm more worried about our young DBs (although less so by the game) and our offense's ability to score in what will be a tough environment against an improved defense. Will be very good to see JOK string together some good games (or good Speight be healthy).
October 2nd, 2017 at 7:24 AM ^
"Predator" has a whole different meaning in Happy Valley.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
I just want to point out that neither Michigan, Penn State, The Big Ten Conference, nor ABC/ESPN has actually announced this. Only that Penn State fan tweet linked in the OP.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:50 PM ^
Fuck ped state
October 1st, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
2006 at night we came out with a W. Let's do it.
October 1st, 2017 at 5:12 PM ^
I was there in 2006 and the team came over to the little section of Maize and Blue fans to celebrate after the game and thank us for being there. It was awesome.
October 1st, 2017 at 7:53 PM ^
The 2006 Penn State game was perhaps the greatest display of defense I can remember. Let's replicate that.
October 1st, 2017 at 8:18 PM ^
Exactly....
October 1st, 2017 at 9:16 PM ^
Was that their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd team quarterback - because I cannot remember
October 1st, 2017 at 10:17 PM ^
Neither can he
October 1st, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
For a game day appearance also. I don't know what other games are that day, but a Heisman hopeful and a top 10 matchup, equals Kirk, Desmond, and Corso.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:55 PM ^
As the rankings stand right now it's the best game by a mile. If both teams win up to that game it will be the second-biggest matchup so far this season after the Bama-FSU opener, a Gameday no-brainer. Probably gets Gameday even if one team loses beforehand.
October 1st, 2017 at 4:52 PM ^
being from pennsylvania and now living in big sky country, everyone i come across out here says how bad it was that the stuff happened at penn state. most people are glad that i am not a fan of that school in any sense of the word. I cant wait for that game so we can see what both teams really have going for them.
October 1st, 2017 at 6:42 PM ^
.This is the Biggest Game of the Year for Both Teams.
October 1st, 2017 at 6:56 PM ^
...and by "here", I mean, mgoblog, college football in general, the state of Michigan, the Midwest and the B1G footprint, the United States, hell: the WORLD because even those weird Japanese animators know what is the biggest game of the year for Michigan and it ain't Penn state.
October 1st, 2017 at 8:12 PM ^
You mean those Japanese animators from Taiwan? :)
October 1st, 2017 at 5:02 PM ^
I booked a haircut and massage for Saturday morning Oct. 21 yesterday. Glad they did not disappoint. Thanks for letting us know. Regardless of who takes the most home run swings that night, win the game.
October 1st, 2017 at 5:42 PM ^
Gotta look good and feel good
October 1st, 2017 at 5:00 PM ^
disgusting and dispicalbe bunch of internet fans... right up with with OSU and MSU... their defense of JoePa is sickening
October 1st, 2017 at 5:55 PM ^
fwiw I know some Penn St alums/fans that are sickened by what happened and by the attempts to whitewash those involved (indeed, you would think this may even be true of most of them). so perhaps let's not paint with too broad of a brush....
October 1st, 2017 at 7:56 PM ^
Being "sickened" and "No longer supporting" are a far reach. If it was Michigan i'd find a new team to love or stop watching college football.
October 2nd, 2017 at 8:46 AM ^
Growing up near Philly I was a PSU fan first and know a lot of folks who still are. The situation with Paterno is unique in that he was for all intents and purposes the founding father of Penn State. Students drew on his reputation and words to do a lot of good (dance marathon, etc) and those ethos are still alive. I remember hosting the Lion Ambassadors my senior year in A2 and thinking how friggin earnest they were. The Sandusky thing was really really hard for them to process and essentially broke them into one camp that was mostly alums and mgoblog types (informed, etc) who still believe in the ethos of PSU but who shun Paternos memory and others (rcmb or, ahem mlive types) who are essentially tribalists and refuse to believe anything bad about St Joe
October 1st, 2017 at 5:01 PM ^
Anyway, a good spot to drop a note. WS3 will be out a little longer than the initiaL 2-3 weeks as reported earlier.
October 1st, 2017 at 5:03 PM ^
As always, appreciate your insight.
October 1st, 2017 at 5:10 PM ^
So, we love or die with JOK. The good news for him is that he doesn't have to look over his shoulder.
October 1st, 2017 at 5:14 PM ^
Sounds like Speight may be back for the PSU game.
What was his injury anyway?
October 1st, 2017 at 6:46 PM ^
Probably done for '17.
October 1st, 2017 at 7:00 PM ^
Uh wow this is big news if accurate
October 1st, 2017 at 10:20 PM ^
that we care more about his health and well being than the result of any game?
