was 18-14 last year, and 11-20 the year before.

I am not sure what is worse - the scandal itself OR having a scandal, and in the meantime, your team sucks.

Auburn basketball fans - take the refund...

Upvoting you for your avatar - one of the great movie characters of all time.  Many a time have I quoted Damone to single friends needing help with the ladies:

"You don't care if she comes, lays, stays or preys, whatever happens your toes are still tappin."

Genius.

Seriously fuck Auburn, Ole Miss and schools like it that have institutionally cheated for decades to try to keep up in CFB and MBB, but most of all, fuck Penn State.

This is why players need to be paid. This form of "arbitrage" will always exist when there is such a large gap between the money there is to be made from putting together a good college basketball team (or football) and what it costs to do so.

But they won't since they are apparently a top choice to win it all.  I did not realize this because I thought the NCAA would've slapped them with a postseason ban.  How, after ho-gate, are they still postseason eligible?

I'm amazed Auburn fans even know they have a basketball team and perhaps more importantly, would pay to go and see it.

Honest question: has Auburn basketball done ANYTHING of note since Charles Barkley left?

I'd have to imagine that Auburn fans would be most angry that someone wasted time paying basketball players instead of football players like they're used to.

Well, I give them some small amount of credit here. It's the anti-Penn State. You have a scandal and can deny, defend and spin or you can own it and begin trying to make things right. Albeit a tiny step, it is something. Oh, and Fuck Penn State.

This is what happens when you hire Bruce Pearl, a coach who violated NCAA regulations and was fired from a team in your own league a couple a years earlier.  Breaking rules is what he does.
