Somewhere Tony Romo is sitting in a dark room in a large leather recliner watching this with the sound off as he pretends he's in the booth with Jon Gruden predicting Dak's next failure of a play.

To be honest, this doesn't make much sense. If anything, what the players are doing exemplifies exactly what the troops fight for - which is our sovereignty and everything it represents (constitutional rights). Freedom of expression is a constitutional right protected under the law, our laws say nothing about being unconditionally patriotic. I think you are confusing our country with a dictatorship.
It's weird to me how not standing for the national anthem has been equated to hating troops. Really it has nothing to do with that at all. This isn't a Vietnam style protest in any sense.
With that said, it's also someone's right to disagree with the players and not support the product they put out. However, some of the justification for the disagreement is definitionally anti-American in and of itself.

Bang biscuit. Well put sir. Outrage over people kneeling at the flag and it's song is a bit imature and obviously ignores what these gentlemen are trying to get across. White people gonna white people, though (me included, yes...except I can actually rationalize what people of color are trying to fucking tell us versus ignoring it as if many of them live/lived in the same world as us on a day-to-day basis).

"A 2009 Harris Poll reported 87 percent of U.S. adults said hearing the anthem usually made them feel proud to be an American".

"A Harris Interactive survey of 2,200 adults has found that nearly two out of three Americans, or 61 percent, do not know all the words to the "The Star-Spangled Banner," the national anthem."

How about this...you don't get to be offended by people reaching out and trying to put a stop to wrongdoings of their people. Got it?! It's pretty fucking simple.

I sure would love to have a chat with you face to face. What is wrong with being a patriot? I did care when the pres belittled McCain. Colin K has EVERY right to kneel for the anthem. As I have every right to disagree with him. Please keep making more assumptions about me.Include more ad hominem attacks. Increases your credability. Go blue!
