Man those announcers sucked. Messed up 3-4 names in addition to the Nordin gaffe and Quinn couldn't figure out why Isaac was used so sparingly until the other guy reminded him that he left the field hurt last week.

Going for the block on 4th and extra-long was the right call. Calling it off after getting hit with one "running into kicker" call was also the right thing to do.

going for the block was the right call?  That wasn't the first time UM has been penalized this year for running into the kicker.  It was at least the 3rd time.  UM had taken control of the game at point.  Ne need to give Purdue a cheap first down on a penatly.

continues to be top-notch. Meanwhile, why aren't the refs quicker at blowing the play dead when it's clear that a kick-off is clearly boomed out-of-play past the end line? At least 3 times today (and possibly more), each team's kick sailed well over the head of the deep man, and yet the officials we're tardy in whistling the play dead. Ad a result, bodies continued to crash into each other needlessly upfield. It seems that officials could and definitely should be able to stop play a lot quicker, especially since the drumbeat is getting louder and louder to eliminate the kick-off in college to prevent injuries.

Not really any improvement, still pleasantly decent and consistant.

The only big change I'd like to note is WIld Thing punting! I thought that was a great decision. Solid kicks getting some distance and not randomly going out of bounds too early.
