Ric Flair shares details of his health scare
He spent 10 days on life support. Between 3700 - 4000 calories of booze a day (around 20 drinks) will do that to you. The man is lucky to have survived.

That's the fucking thing about getting old, man. You do that shit in college, 20 drinks a day, you're a legend. You get old, you're on life support.

Is like fentanyl - it's toxic even to remain in the same room with him. His pores exuding more interesting chemical compounds than a Chinese plastics dump.

At how many medical doctors and lawyers are functional "alcoholics." I know quite a few of them and may even have qualified personally during various inflection points in my own professional life. Conversely, I have yet to meet a CEO who exhibited or confided this problem - with them it's apparently blow or sex addiction. Stay high on life without abusing crap please.

Report him/her to the state bar authority. Your identity won't be disclosed, an investigation may ensue, and the bar will likely attempt to help the afflicted person provided the results indicate there is an actual problem. In my instance, I merely noted too much time at the bars on weekends when I should have been doing something productive instead. I was not exactly alone in my patronage of Chicago drinking establishments..

My dad was a pretty good attorney and a functional alcoholic for decades in SE Michigan. I grew up without a dad, he was always working or at the bar and as Frank Sinatra sang, that's life.

My nephew recently died from chronic alcoholism, also. His liver shut down. He was told to never take another drink, because the body had no way to get rid of the alcohol. We think he drank half a beer - dead within 24 hours. It sucks, but Mr Flair is one lucky motherfucker! WOOOO!!!
Hope he stops drinking cold turkey...

I think most of the others kicked the bucket already. The only side effect of steroids is greatness...and an early death.

Dude's had a crazy life for sure. He should have died in a plane crash but somehow survived. Add decades of booze and drugs which is common in the wrestling lifestyle and it's amazing that he's made it this far when so many wrestlers die in their 40's and 50's. Google "plane ride from hell" for an amusing story about Flair. Glad to hear he's okay. WOOOOOOOOO!
