If jailbroken you can install your own IPAs (iphone app files), or unjailbroken you can sideload it but have to reinstall every 7 days. However, I thought when the app initially was discontinued Brian cut it off from pulling in site data, which is why I deleted it. So my answer is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
On a side note, if anyone has the MGoBlogHD .ipa and would be kind enough to send it to me that would just be fantastic.

Second. The HD app was so much better I just wished they worked with mgoblog instead of this one

If you never deleted it, it now works again.

That's definitely not true, at least not universally. I have it on an iPad, and when I launch it I get a message saying it is no longer supported.

The same experience

Which version of iPad do you have?

Honestly I don't remember. I think it's the second version of the iPad Air, but I doubt it has anything to do with the hardware, most likely it's the version of the app. Possibly the version of iOS.

You know that using the HD app deprives MGoBlog of revenue, which is why it was discontinued. It's fairly shitty to essentially steal free content because the UX isn't 100% convenient.

The UE on this site sucks so bad. So I don't think anyone should have to apologize because the tech has not improved. I think Brian and team run a great ship but they innovate and change at the speed of Blackberry.

lol "steal"

Is 0% convenient

How does one steal free content?
September 17th, 2017 at 2:57 PM ^
The content is free because the ads pay for the site. No ads = no money = no free content. Should be simple enough to understand.

and remove the ads, paste them into a pdf, and then send the pdf to the unfortunate souls in Bolivia, are they reading stolen content?

The current app is not inconvenient. It literally does not work.

I cannot log in from the old app. If I log in on via the website, there aren't any problems.

Wait, wait, I could be viewing this site in high definition right now !?

Yeah you should see Brian's hair in HD, it's even more incredible.

This old app is buggy and very limited. I was bummed when I had to delete HD. It stopped pulling data.

HD app is like this generation's Flappy Birds. Anybody want to buy an iPhone?

I still have it installed on my iPhone. I never deleted it. It still works for me like a charm, though I do not log in, I just use it to read posts. If you still have it on your iPhone, there is a quirk to using it that may cause people to think it doesn't work. Specifically, when you open the app, it gives you the standard "error - app no longer supported" message. Disregard that message. Instead, while the app is still open, go back to the home page and press down hard on the app (I know, it's weird) and re-open it. The second time opening it, the error message does not appear. Instead, it simply looks like it is timing out. At that point, step three is to push the "back" arrow in the top left, and that will take you to the main MGoBlog page. You can also get to the Board that way. That said, I have no idea if I can login with the app, I just use it to read stuff.
