Ben Gedeon starting for Minnesota
September 11th, 2017 at 7:32 PM ^
another targeting call where the offensive player lowers his head to the level of the defender and is awarded with 15 yards.
Dalvin Cook reached for the ball after dropping it while the LB was coming up to make the tackle.
awful, horrible, no good call.
September 12th, 2017 at 8:48 AM ^
Probably not as bad as calling PF for hitting the qb below the knee when he clearly hit him in the hip.
September 11th, 2017 at 7:34 PM ^
Really curious what Peterson is going to do in this game
September 11th, 2017 at 7:39 PM ^
Using the NFL mobile app right now and it is pretty good. It is free streaming if you have Verizon.
September 11th, 2017 at 7:50 PM ^
Oh wow....do you have to log in or does it detect Verizon connection?
September 11th, 2017 at 7:53 PM ^
Auto detects on the NFL mobile app from my iPhone...
September 11th, 2017 at 7:54 PM ^
https://www.verizonwireless.com/nfl/nfl-mobile/
I'm guessing it does. I don't remember loggin in.
September 11th, 2017 at 7:55 PM ^
I have Verizon and the app on my phone but I am hesitant to "allow NFL Mobile to send and view SMS messages".
Was this asked of you and is it anything to worry about? If I deny it, I can't watch, which is okay since I'm streaming ESPN.
September 11th, 2017 at 8:05 PM ^
Good thinking the feds could tap into your NFL game stream to find you!
September 12th, 2017 at 7:35 AM ^
I bet you're watching from just outside the Merchandise Mart on the Wells Street Bridge.
September 11th, 2017 at 8:55 PM ^
Only thing it asked was to turn on location services for the app

here is a box of kittehs
September 12th, 2017 at 12:04 AM ^
This gif is awesome. I can't stop watching or smiling
September 11th, 2017 at 8:24 PM ^
Oh sweet, a double header for Monday Night Football.
"Beth Mowins and Rex Ryan will be announcing the second game"
September 11th, 2017 at 8:34 PM ^
I can't wait for the Lions to play the Saints defense.
September 11th, 2017 at 8:42 PM ^
Will someone please please gif the Vikings coach saying "what the fuck" after the missed XP.
September 11th, 2017 at 8:51 PM ^
I can picture Zimmer going out to the kicker's car and smashing it with a crow bar...
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MISS AN EXTRA POINT
September 11th, 2017 at 9:05 PM ^
This Saints secondary is horrendous.
September 11th, 2017 at 9:06 PM ^
I keep seeing LAC as the new abbreviation for the Chargers and thinking that the Clippers are playing tonight. I guess the only difference is that the Clippers have a chance at filling the stubhub center. Timely sponsorship though, no one is paying face to go watch a bad team play in Carson
September 11th, 2017 at 9:08 PM ^
OK, I'm not the only one. Drove me crazy during fantasy drafts.
September 11th, 2017 at 9:14 PM ^
Given how week 1 is going for me I would have been better off drafting DeAndre Jordan
September 11th, 2017 at 9:44 PM ^
Gosh that Johnson injury... Picked him with the first pick in my draft where every other skill player was off the board as a keeper, and of course. Of course.
September 11th, 2017 at 9:44 PM ^
No,the only difference is the Clippers draw a larger crowd.
September 11th, 2017 at 9:14 PM ^
Watching en Espanol on ESPN 2. I recommend it.
September 11th, 2017 at 9:49 PM ^
Lions gonna have their hands full with the Vikings.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:12 PM ^
Double header a one time thing? Don't remember them ever doing this
September 11th, 2017 at 10:14 PM ^
Don't they always do this for week one?
September 11th, 2017 at 10:25 PM ^
Not sure about always...but I know they have for the past 4-5 years.
I feel like it coincided with the HUGE NFL contract ESPN signed.
The contract where they're required to have x amount of NFL related programming and hours devoted to the NFL per day and per week. ESPN is basically NFL Network on Monday's even shows like ATH, PTI, and Russillo are required to lead off and incorporate NFL programming on Monday.
Anyway...tangent alert - I hate that contract because it ruined Monday's for college football fans on ESPN.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:28 PM ^
what she said.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:14 PM ^
I love Charles Woodson...favorite player all time.
Watching him on ESPN is like watching Jordan struggling to dunk in a Wizard's uniform.
Moss isn't any better. Oof.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:23 PM ^
Holy shit that was a good National Anthem. Nerves of steel from that high school student.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:53 PM ^
it really was a great performance. usually i'm not impressed but that girl could seriously sing.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:34 PM ^
Ref said "First charged time out San Diego." Gonna take some getting used to.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:39 PM ^
So glad Mowins is announcing this game. She really makes it more exciting! I think the ratings for MNF are about to skyrocket!
September 11th, 2017 at 10:50 PM ^
About the excellent Beth Mowins. Since I have seen the light today about what kind of person I really am, I can now see that Beth is a great announcer.
September 11th, 2017 at 10:43 PM ^
CFB is so exciting, not really into NFL anymore unless a Michigan player is involved. Weird.
September 11th, 2017 at 11:38 PM ^
Both these coaches are such pussies. Punting from the 39? Running the football with one minute left? What a joke.
September 12th, 2017 at 12:23 AM ^
I think Beth is pretty good. Have enjoyed the college games she's done for ESPN. Rex, on the hand, may be the worst I've ever heard in the booth. He's, literally, unlistenable. The game is muted, I'd rather listen to the dogs chewing their bones than another word from Big Rexy
September 12th, 2017 at 12:32 AM ^
Davis just TRUCKED Gordon. My God. Clowney-esque.
September 12th, 2017 at 12:58 AM ^
Anyone just catch that sideline reporter holy fuck he bombed. That's has to be a joke right?
September 12th, 2017 at 1:06 AM ^
He's a serious sideline reporter, usually works ESPN Spanish-language broadcasts, IIRC. He's having fun with it after the fact, he knows he completely ate it.
September 12th, 2017 at 1:10 AM ^
Les Miles School of 4th Quarter Clock Management here for the Chargers.
September 12th, 2017 at 1:18 AM ^
I'm sorry but Jesus Christ Rex and Beth have 0 chemistry. This is god awful
September 12th, 2017 at 1:24 AM ^
I mean, if she's wearing shoes, can we be surprised?
September 12th, 2017 at 1:20 AM ^
There are some things I will never understand about football. A team allowing a field goal block right up the middle is one of them.
